Works as described.

The only downside using this extension is that it does open a separate IE browser window and doesn't run an IE engine inside your Firefox tab like other extensions do.

If you're having issues, make sure you've set up the extension's options:

≡ > Add-ons > Extensions > IE View WE > Options

Path to Internet Explorer = C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

Website to be opened by IE always = http://example.com/*

Work perfectly just like old ieview.
I have just a bug in context menu. Normally it should show "Open by IE" but it's empty, I think the error comes from the messages.json :

Is not "contextMenu_page_label" but "contextMenu.page.label"
Is not "contextMenu_link_label" but "contextMenu.link.label"

Does NOTHING. Installed per instructions, pathway to executable. NOTHING. Total waste of time.

the main context menu item is not available

Opens the page in a new instance of IE. Unfortunate it doesn't render as IE in the current tab, like IE Tab V2 did. WebExtention limitation maybe?

une fois le chemin vers explorer.exe réglé, un clic droit sur un lien permet d'ouvrir le lien dans explorer (option open this link by IE). Mais, un réglage des chemins à ouvrir automatiquement (exemple: file://///serveur), ne permet pas d'ouvrir automatiquement les liens en faisant un clic gauche. Le module fonctionne à moitié, mais dépanne quand même bien.
