Much better than the Config Option Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I respect that the author mentions this isn't needed anymore, but I much prefer this addon to the Config setting. This lets me have more control.

Conflict with stationery Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This setting doesn't work with the add-on stationery installed.

SO simple, so effective... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

that the TB Devs FINALLY caught on--though their default is 3. Way to go, Bozz, and thank you from all of us who have used yours all these years!

P.S. Will it work in Sea Monkey?

Thanks and no, the extension isn't coded for SeaMonkey but if someone wants to pick it up they are welcome to do so.

good, basic Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thanks for that improvement. Is it possible to have it remember its last setting? I rarely send to more than one person at a time, and it would be nice to have it stay at one line rather than having to reset each time I write a message.

You shouldn't need to reset it each time. Perhaps you are having a conflict with some other add-on.

Great but how to add more recipients than set lines? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension is great space saver! Thanks a lot for making it.I have an issue though - Normally when you fill up all the available recipient lines a vertical scroll bar and another empty box would appear so you can enter as many recipients as you want, but not any more.I set the number of recipient lines to 2, but then there's no way to enter more than 2 recipients because there's no more available boxes and no scroll bar.I can see that the scroll bar appears if more recipients are already entered, but not if I'm entering new recipients.Any way to have the scroll bar appear when all the recipient lines are entered?

EDIT: When I press enter after entering the second recipient the cursor goes into the third line and the scroll bar appears. So it's OK if I use keyboard, which is good enough for me.

I'm sorry, but I haven't experienced the problom you're having. Perhaps there may be a conflict with another extension or theme? Also see my note 'About this Add-on' pertaining to Thunderbird v24.0.

Just what I needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is exactly what I needed. I have an Acer Aspire One netbook. Combined with compactheaders, this reduces unnecessary spaces so I can take full advantage of small screen! I set it to 1. It's also easy enough to change in the rare cases that I send out e-mails to multiple people.

~~~ SUGGESTION ~~1st off - Great tool. Exactly what is needed!2nd - It would be nice to be able to "Auto-set lines" Meaning that I could set line 2 as always CC. NOT that I want someones name in that field but to have that option of it constantly set to Cc (similar to Outlook).Thoughts?
I appreciate the suggestion, but we're gonna just keep it plain and simple.
You do have the problem I described even when using the default theme. Please examine the picture posted on the extensions web page. It shows the "to cc bcc" text box without the dropmarker. Please compare how that box appears with the extension enabled and how it appears with the extension disabled.
Okay, I see what you're talking about. I was using WinXP at that time and moved to Win7 shortly thereafter and don't see that problem with Win7.
Are you using WinXP? Can you click on the button and get the dropdown list?
hey, great - - i waited yearningly for a new tool to come, since the other ad-line addons didn't work anymore.. definitely a must-have for netbook users - thanxalot! :)
just one question: is it possible to implement an automatic ad-line adding function? so that if my predefined standard is one ad-line but at times i want to, as an example, add a cc-copy, the addon automatically adds a second (third, etc) ad-line only for that mail, if i choose 'cc' in the thunderbird ad-pulldown menu? (apart from this, i think it would be really useful if such a function would be implemented in thunderbird as a standard!) .. thanx!
I'm sorry, but that behaviour would be a rather complex undertaking.
Can you make it work in Postbox 3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works great in Thunderbird but won't work in Postbox - although it installs OK. No extra lines visible in Compose window
Sorry, but I don't use Postbox. Perhaps one of the add-on authors there can help you out. The addressing widget in Postbox may be different or they may be using the widget that was coded prior to Thunderbird v5.0.
Wonderful add-on - just works! No fuss, no confusion. I am soooo ... pleased! Thank you!
Restored the 4 lines field Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Another Add-On set the number of lines probably to 1 at deinstallation. So, If I entered an address, it was invissible, because it was upshifted.
One call of "Address Widget Lines" and the problem was fixed.
Thank you very much for the great tool. Regards, Rudolf
Simple + useful = great!
Comes in very handy! I rarely send out emails to more than one recipient. Besides, additional address lines are added automatically anyway.
Hello your really great add-on don't compatible with Thunderbird 8.0. Update it please. I for myself changed maximum version in zip archive. It works.
I have no problem downloading and installing in Thunderbird 8.0. I'm not sure what you're issue was.
Very handy. Small footprint. Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great to have something that provides one function. It does this well with a very small footprint :)
If only there were more extensions like this... or the functions were available within Thunderbird by default (however I do appreciate the Dev cycle).
If you previously used MailTweak (see which is abandoned and now breaks in newer builds of Thunderbird, this extension will provide one of the functions MailTweak used to.
This is great, saves a lot of screen space. It even works without restarting TB. Muchos kudos!
