Please add support for HTML5 videos Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very good add-on, but unfortunately still does not support HTML5 Streaming Videos like on youtube (as also with html5 video ads).
HTML5 Videos are more and more common, so please add support for it in the next time.
Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I use it mainly because of Youtube. I hate that when I click on a video link the video starts to play automatically. On Youtube, there is no option to disable autoplay. This add-on does that. Video page opens with the video paused. So far, I haven't had any problems with it.
PS: Perfect would it be if it would show the video's thumbnail, instead of a black screen.
no longer works on youtube Rated 2 out of 5 stars
as soon as youtube page loads, the palyback starts, sound only, but the video frame remains blocked by flashblock. Need to stop the playback, enable the plugin, sometimes reload the page and then start the playback again in order to watch the video. Pure flash websites seem to work fine though.
Exactly like this guy described
Nice other than Netflix Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Works pretty well other than the fact you have to disable it and restart Firefox anytime you want to watch netflix in the browser
why the f*k did all the websites dissapeard from your extension's exception list ?! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This extension is great but this issue annoyed me like hell, i mean come on, why did it happen ? does it have anything to do with the fact that i've just now installed firefox on another computer and signed on to get it syncronized with my bookmarks and extensions ? When you addon gets synchronized does the exception list dissapears from all my computers ? at least provide a save/load list mechanism or something ..
i'm so disappointed .. and annoyed ..
does not work as advertised Rated 1 out of 5 stars
videos start playing regardless if the plugin is active or not
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
does not work anymore on youtube and other sites with Seamonkey 2.33.1
Nice idea but does not perform as advertised Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This fails to work more often than not and is pretty random.
Mostly I view videos on YouTube, BBC or Guardian. Errors and randomness are too many to list, sometimes an unclickable placeholder, sometimes an active player, experience varies from visit to visit, even when flash is blocked, it is invariably the culprit for when FF freezes.
Oh yes, and sometimes it works.
Ely Sakhai used this a lot Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I used this a lot, but since Firefox has a default off policy on Adobe Flash, this is kinda getting useless.
does not work with Netflix ! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I must trun of Flashbock to wtach movies on Netflix !
Please fix this bug !
Great - but v220.127.116.11 blocks Silverscript for Amazon Instant Video and Netflix Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I still rate this addon a wonderful 5 stars -I can open multiple tabs without all the video news, etc. items running- but
I couldn't run MS Silverscript with Amazon Prime Instant Video in July, 2015 with the latest Flashblock 18.104.22.168 loaded as a Firefox addon - even disabled: I had to actually remove Flashblock from Firefox (not just disabled and grayed-out) before Silverscript (which I had reinstalled to ensure it wasn't the problem) would run with Amazon PIV.
Actually, Amazon PIV gives you the option of running its videos with Adobe Flash if Silverscript won't run and at my low-speed broadband it runs at 480p and Flash provides a much better 720x480p near-DVD quality picture than Silverscript for me, so it's not a problem at home (I reinstalled Flashblock) until I upgrade my ISP. Since Chrome won't run Silverscript, one alternative is to run Amazon PIV in Internet Explorer which has no problem running Silverscript for me.
I discovered this problem with Flashblock after googling and discovering a bugzilla.mozilla.org thread from early in 2015 where Netflix users were having the same problem with Silverscript with the same 22.214.171.124 version of Flashblock.

Great Performance Booster Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I installed this because ads and other things using flash often "lock up" Firefox. This caused Firefox to appear unresponsive and performing poorly -- when in fact it was some flash related problem. A nice enhancement would be a button or key sequence that would load all the flash content on the current page. The whitelist feature can be challenged by the fact that a single web page may load flash content from many other web pages --- which is why you can have performance and other issues to begin with!
Poblems with Twitter and HTML5 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add-on prevents you from watching videos on Twitter, unless you enable Flash globally, it is useless to add an exception for this site. It works on Youtube with Flash Player, but not with HTML5. Could you please fix it?
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This extension prevents Netflix from loading entirely, even when disabled via the "Enable/Disable Flashblock" function, and even when netflix.com is whitelisted. Please fix.
Otherwise, works well.
not working with youtube plz fix. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
its a great addon but not working with youtube anymore plz fix
Глюки с просмотром видео Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Пришлось отключить, т.к. глючит с некоторыми видео (например с с ютубом).

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This On Working So Good It's Blocking All Unwanted Videos Automatically Loading.Thank You Developer
Once an excellent addon Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately it no longer works with youtube, facebook or similar websites that aggressively start playing videos without asking the user.
excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works great. Blocks annoying auto-start ads and useless clips on news sites.
One suggested improvement: add a right-click context menu item that would allow me to add a website/domain to Flashblock's whitelist.
