Vroef – Password Generator Autor: Johannes Verhoeff

Vroef makes strong, unique passwords in one click: random, easy to remember, or a PIN. Everything happens locally in your browser. Nothing goes over the internet.

WHAT VROEF DOES
• Random: 4 to 64 characters, with or without capitals, digits and symbols.
• Memorable: 1 to 10 words in English, Dutch or Urkers (a Dutch dialect), with capitals, digits and a separator of your choice.
• PIN: 4 to 12 digits. Easy-to-guess codes like 0000 and 1234 never come out.
• Exclude characters, for example 0O1lI to avoid mix-ups. Or include them: then they are in every password.
• Strength in five levels, with the exact number of bits and the estimated time to crack.
• Copy several: up to 100 new passwords at once, one per line or comma-separated.
• Ten more passwords to choose from.
• A history of what you copied. It lives in memory only and disappears when you close the browser.
• Light and dark theme. English and Dutch.

SAFE AND PRIVATE
• The randomness comes from your browser's cryptographic generator, without bias towards any character.
• No account, no tracking, no ads.
• Your settings stay in your browser.

ALSO AS AN APP
Vroef is also an app for macOS, Windows and Linux. With the app on your computer, the extension and the app share their settings and history, only on your own computer. Without the app, the extension works on its own.
