    The Download button no longer appeared on private tracks opened through a share link. SoundCloud renders no Share, Copy link or Repost button on those pages, and the extension was looking for exactly those to know where to put its own button. It now finds the track's action row by its "more" menu button, which is always present.

    SoundCloud rolled out a redesigned track page (Material UI-based) that broke this extension's Download button.
    It stopped appearing there, though it kept working everywhere else (search, profile, likes). This release adds full support for that new layout, and works regardless of your SoundCloud interface language.

    Also improved: download errors now show a clear on-screen notification instead of failing silently, and the message for copy-protected (DRM) tracks is now in plain language instead of technical jargon.

    • Tracks that SoundCloud has moved under DRM (most distributed releases with an ISRC) can no longer be downloaded as MP3 :( those endpoints now return 404 and only encrypted streams are served. The extension now detects this and shows a clear "DRM-protected" message instead of failing silently
    • Download errors are now visible in the UI: the button briefly flashes red, hover the button to see what went wrong
    • Other tracks (independent uploads, mixes, podcasts, free downloads) continue to work as before
