OpenDownloader — save web video Autor: OpenDownloader

OpenDownloader is a free video downloader that saves video and audio from the web pages you visit, including streaming (HLS) video.

It works with direct media links and .m3u8 playlists, and with popular sites including Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram and Bilibili.

Features
- Lists the video and audio available on the page you're on
- Choose the quality, or take the recommended one
- Pause and resume downloads any time
- Streamed segments and separate audio and video tracks are merged into one playable file
- Every finished file is checked with a SHA-256 digest, so incomplete downloads are caught
- Off by default: the extension only looks at sites you turn it on for, one site at a time
- No account, no ads, no tracking

Media protected by DRM, and any encrypted stream, is refused in code, on every site.

Files are assembled and verified on your own computer, and nothing of yours is uploaded. OpenDownloader is also available as a desktop app for Windows and macOS.
