Actilot is an AI browser agent for Firefox. Describe a task, connect your own AI provider and follow its progress in the sidebar. The agent can navigate websites, find information and interact with supported page controls after you grant site access.

• Follow task objectives, plans, actions and results in the Firefox sidebar.
• Answer clarification questions, approve actions and pause, stop or resume tasks.
• Attach images and text files to provide context.
• Create and download text files and Excel workbooks.
• Keep drafts, settings and task history in your browser profile.

BRING YOUR OWN AI PROVIDER
Connect OpenRouter, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, Ollama, LM Studio or a custom compatible endpoint. No Actilot account is required. Actilot is free; external AI providers may charge for usage. A compatible local model can be used without a paid cloud service. Models must support tools; visual assistance also requires image support.

CONTROL AND PRIVACY
Ask-before-acting is the default. Guarded Auto requests confirmation for sensitive or uncertain actions. Autonomous mode can execute sensitive actions without confirmation within configured task limits. Website access remains permission-based in every mode.

Actilot has no intermediary task-processing backend, analytics, advertising or tracking SDK. Relevant prompts, page content and attachment context are sent directly to your chosen AI provider. Optional visual assistance can send page screenshots to a compatible model. The provider's own privacy policy, retention and pricing apply. Local storage does not mean that task data never leaves your device.

GET STARTED
Open Actilot from the toolbar or press Alt+Shift+A. Describe a task, configure your provider and grant the website access needed for it. Follow the task and review its result in the sidebar.

Firefox 140 or later is required. Website automation and AI output can be inaccurate; some websites, logins and CAPTCHAs need manual intervention. Optional voice dictation depends on browser support and may be unavailable in Firefox. PDF and Office document attachments are not currently supported.
