About this Add-on
It is based of Rawkes' project but more automatic : http://rawkes.com/articles/running-node.html
Gray button implies Node is Off.
When you press Gray toolbar button Node is started and toolbar button goes green.
node.js inside resource folder is passed as a parameter for Node from command line. Node server starts and listens for localhost:8080.
Add-on opens localhost:8080 tab and display Hello World to imply Node is up and running.
When you would like to try your own script;
Sample code = http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=fUdyvufV . You may save it as JS file.
Press toolbar button menu and click "Change Script" option.
File Picker opens up.
You select saved JS file and press Open.
Node is restarted with the script you selected.
Add-on opens localhost:8080 tab and display result as a web visit count. When you reload page, it increments visit value.
If you start Firefox with console flag, logs may be read from Terminal. Because we would like to view results in Firefox, any selected Node script should include server itself.
When you would like to stop Node, you press Green button and click OK for prompt. Button goes red, server and node shutdown. If you reload localhost:8080, it is unable to connect.
Node executable is from : http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.5/node-v0.10.5-darwin-x64.tar.gz and http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.5/x64/node.exe
If Windows UAC ask for permission, you have to give permission to start server.
