- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13631884, 6 bliain ó shinThis worked great until it didn't. Don't know what went wrong but I suddenly had multiple ads again. Don't know when or if it will be fixed. Sorry, I really liked how this worked but no longer. Gave it 2 stars instead of one based on how well it worked in the past and the possibility it might be fixed and work in the future.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14238407, 6 bliain ó shinFrom today 23.08. I experience that lots of pages will not load their images. One of the pages is also facebook. If I disable Adblock Plus all is well. So I guess we have some bug here?

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13576973, 6 bliain ó shin"supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default" - translation, those companies that pay to not have their ads blocked...given that business model, how long before every one is paying to not have their ads blocked and Adblock is completely useless?
There are better choices.Developer response
posted 6 bliain ó shinPlease be advised that no company can simply pay to have their ads shown. Publishers have to meet criteria set by the Acceptable Ads Committee before whitelisting is even considered. Most companies actually pay us nothing at all. Users still have the ability to block these ads by disabling “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this feature disabled, please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are more than happy to troubleshoot. You can find out more about how Acceptable Ads works here https://acceptableads.com.
Thanks

ABP Support Team - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14167748, 6 bliain ó shinEh, it works ok but fails to block certain script popup attacks and either bleeds memory horribly or is failing to block some scripts which do so. uBlockOrigin is probably better and its block lists are updated more frequently.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14024649, 6 bliain ó shinIt is no longer working. It says it is installed & it shows on my add-ons. When I try to click the ABP symbol on the upper right of my screen, nothing happens. I am using Firefox on Windows 10.

posted 6 bliain ó shinHi 148b03,
Thank you for letting us know! When you say nothing happens, do you not get the options menu when you click on the ABP icon? If so, try removing and reinstalling using the steps here https://help.eyeo.com/en/adblockplus/uninstall-adblock-plus?53ad1b4a. Send us an email at support@adblockplus.org if this continues, we are more than happy to help!

posted 6 bliain ó shinHi!
There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. Rest assured no company can pay us to have their ads shown. Publishers have to meet the criteria set by the Acceptable Ads Committee before being considered. Most companies actually pay us nothing at all. You can find more details regarding Acceptable Ads here https://acceptableads.com.
Thanks

How do I get it to BLOCK ITSELF from updating automatically... it "bleeps" Firefox every time... on demand updates are ok, automatic is not.
