    Version 0.3.1

    Publicât 11 sept. 2026 - 117,1 kB
    Al funzione cun firefox115.0 e sucessivis, android120.0 e sucessivis
    • Auto-advance dropped the next chapter if the browser evicted the service
      worker mid-navigation.
The pending tab, its content type and its next-chapter
URL lived in module-level Maps, which an MV3 worker loses the moment it is
evicted, so tabs.onUpdated woke to an empty set and the new page never
started scrolling. All three now live in storage.session.
    • Resume positions were never saved. They were written to storage.sync,
where 50 full URLs overflow the 8KB per-item quota; every write rejected, and
the rejection was discarded. They are stored locally now, and a failed write
      is reported instead of swallowed.
    • Resume did nothing on reader and app-shell layouts. The position was read
from document.scrollingElement and restored with window.scrollTo, but on a
page whose document does not scroll that saves and restores a permanent zero.
Both ends now use the element the engine actually scrolls.
    • The floating widget froze in step mode. startStepMode() never emitted
state, so the progress ring and the play glyph stopped updating between start
      and stop.
    • The Shortcuts page showed the defaults rather than the real bindings. It
rendered a cached copy from storage, so a shortcut rebound in the browser's
own editor still displayed as Alt+S. It now reads commands.getAll().
    • Badge writes could take down a message handler on Firefox for Android,
which exposes action without badge support. They are guarded.
    • strict_min_version is now 115.0, the first Firefox with
storage.session. Firefox 109 to 114 are no longer supported.
    • The unused profile:getForSite and profile:save message handlers, and the
customShortcuts storage item that nothing wrote to.

    Version 0.3.0

    Publicât 10 sept. 2026 - 117,09 kB
    Al funzione cun firefox109.0 e sucessivis, android120.0 e sucessivis
    New in 0.3.0
    • Firefox for Android support. AutoScroll Pro now installs and runs on
      Firefox for Android.
    • Floating on-page controls. A draggable play/pause, speed and progress
panel that remembers where you put it. Turn it on in the popup or the
options page. On Android this is the control to use, because Android
supports neither keyboard shortcuts nor context menus.
    • Loop to top. Return to the start and keep scrolling instead of stopping
      at the end.
    • Space to pause and resume, without reaching for the toolbar. It only
takes over the Space key while scrolling, and never while you are typing.
    • Pick scroll area. If auto-detection targets the wrong part of a page,
choose the scrolling area yourself from the popup. Your choice is saved
      for that site.
    • Per-site speed memory. A speed you set by hand is remembered for that
      site and restored next visit.

    Fixed
    • On Firefox for Android the background script failed on startup, which
disabled the toolbar badge and chapter auto-advance. Android implements
neither the commands nor the menus API, and the add-on assumed both
      were present.

    Notes
    • Requires Firefox 109 or later.
    • PDF auto-scroll works in Firefox's built-in PDF viewer.
    • Still no host permissions, no network requests, no data collection.

I checked the built manifest rather than guessing the version floor: strict_min_version: "109.0" with gecko_android: {}, and an empty gecko_android inherits the desktop minimum. So 109 covers both and there's no separate Android number to quote.

  • Version 0.2.1

    Publicât 10 sept. 2026 - 112,44 kB
Al funzione cun firefox109.0a1 e sucessivis
    AutoScroll Pro 0.2.1

    Fixed
    • Auto-scroll did nothing on most blogs and manga/manhwa readers. It
targeted the article or reader element, which usually isn't the thing
that scrolls, so it stopped instantly without moving.
    • Pages that scroll inside a panel instead of the whole window (most
web apps and dashboards) now work.
    • Sites with CSS smooth scrolling no longer stutter or crawl.
    • Snap-scrolling pages no longer drag each step back.
    • The lowest speed settings could fail to move at all.
    • Scrolling stopped at a false bottom on infinite-scroll and
lazy-loading pages. It now waits for new content to load.
    • Alt+S only started scrolling and never stopped it after the extension
had been idle for a while.
    • The content type badge in the popup always read "general".
    • The extension no longer prevents pages from being restored instantly
when you go back or forward.

    Changed
    • Firefox builds now use Manifest V3.
    • Removed the "scripting" and "activeTab" permissions. Neither was used.

    Known limitations
    • Chrome's built-in PDF viewer can't be auto-scrolled. Browser
extensions can't reach inside it. PDF.js viewers, including Firefox's,
    work fine.
    • Content inside a cross-origin iframe won't scroll.

    What's New

    Smarter Reading Experience
    • Auto-advance chapters — Reading manga or manhwa? When you reach the bottom of a chapter, AutoScroll Pro can automatically jump to the next one and keep scrolling. Toggle it on in the popup or
      settings.
    • Site-specific profiles now work automatically — Create a profile for your favorite sites (like "fast scroll on MangaDex") and it kicks in the moment you visit. No need to manually switch.
    • Better scroll on manga & PDF sites — The extension now correctly detects and scrolls inside reader panels instead of the whole page. No more scrolling the wrong thing.

    Popup Improvements
    • Content type indicator — A small badge next to the title shows what kind of page you're on (manga, blog, PDF). Helps you understand why the speed adjusted.

    Settings & Sync
    • Your reading positions now sync across devices — Pick up where you left off on your laptop after reading on your desktop. Works automatically through your browser account.
    • Export & import all settings — Back up everything (speed, profiles, preferences) to a file, or move your setup to a new browser in one click. Find it in Settings → About.

    Small Fixes
    • The focus mode dimming overlay no longer flashes when navigating between pages
    • Version number in settings now always shows the correct version
    • The "next chapter" navigation only works within the same website for your safety

  • Version 0.1.1

    Publicât 13 mai 2026 - 120,52 kB
Al funzione cun firefox58.0 e sucessivis
    • Fixed scroll targeting to use document.scrollingElement (W3C standard) instead of hardcoded document.documentElement. Firefox uses different scrolling elements depending on page compatibility mode and CSS, causing
scroll commands to silently fail on affected pages.
    • Added extension context invalidation cleanup. When Firefox reloads or updates the extension, the scroll engine now properly shuts down instead of leaving zombie animation loops that block future scroll commands.
