Works perfectly clear up to Firefox 56.x. The fact that this mod's functionality was never added to Firefox is a testament to everything that's wrong with Mozilla. RIP Firefox..see you all in the Waterfox and Pale Moon world!
Mozilla will reap what it sows Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Liveclick is among my must-have addons and the only one I ever donated to. Without it Firefox is simply not worth using. However, I do not blame the dev for bailing out. Mozilla has demonstrated clearly that it doesn't *deserve* people like Protejohnny. The same company that fired its CEO over a private political donation has now donated $100K to a company whose mission is to support extreme domestic terror groups like Antifa. Mozilla, along with Firefox, will soon be irrelevant and have nobody but its radical leadership to blame. Protejohnny, if it were at all possible to port Liveclick to Chrome it would be the single greatest advance that browser has received from the community. I know there's an addon that emulates the FF Live Bookmark behavior but that's nowhere near what Liveclick offers. Thank you for everything and I hope you stay in the game :)
Mozilla should apologize to their users - AGAIN Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This is one of five addons I cannot live without and is probably my #1 "should be base code" choice. I wonder how much Google is paying the fascists at Mozilla to sabotage Firefox?
New problem for good addon Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I've enjoyed using Hoxx for a little while now but the latest version seems to have a problem - there's no button or any other way to control it.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (2.2.6). Cet utilisateur a une critique précédente de ce module.
So far, so good Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Thus far Hoxx seems to do everything the now-broken Hotspot Shield did equally as well. Actually, its better in some ways - for example, the free version lets you use servers in your own country. If I have any complaints, they are:
* "Connected to" notification has to be manually closed and I can't find any option to disable it.
* Tabs at bottom of browser dialog have no descriptions, not even on mousehover.
One last hurrah Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I'm running FF 64-bit 54.01 because its apparently the last version of FF that supports Liveclick, one of my absolute must-have addons. I started using RBT for its bookmark width control and multi-row features when Place's Full Titles disappeared and Multrow stopped working. Unfortunately the width control feature seems to work on some tabs while others still truncate the titles. If this could be fixed I'd be *very* happy. Many of us have decided to ride the last good versions of FF till their no longer safe to use. Thanks for RBT - its done a great job of replacing several addons that Mozilla has wrecked while trying to destroy itself.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.4.14). Probably the best, up till today Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Great app, really does what it claims. The only problem up till today is that sometimes it won't connect at first and you have to exit and restart FF 64-bit. Hotspot Shield then works OK on second attempt. But something is clearly wrong today. First, I couldn't get it to connect at all. Then the country list disappeared. I've tried everything I can think of including uninstalling the app..but when I did this it was no longer listed as available! After another FF restart HSS was back as if I'd never uninstalled it. I'm very worried - I really don't want this app to disappear. I updated FF 64-bit from 53.0 to 53.0.2 and it hasn't helped :(
Small issue but figured it out Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I installed this in FF 44.0.3 and there's no indication that the mod is active. The only option is "Display icon on main bar" which doesn't work. There's nothing in "customize" or the toolbar menus.
Update: after restarting my browser a second time the icon showed up in the "customize" area. Added it to my tool bar and all seems well :)
Is this a joke? Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
All it does it give you all those redundant master PW prompts *before* TB actually appears. How does this fix anything??Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.6.1-signed.1-signed).
Is this thing real? Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
Add-on doesn't seem to recognize any domains and provides no way to add user feedback regarding sites.
Great but there's a slight bug Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
In TB 36.0 the icons on the toolbar are NOT colored any more :(
Update: THANK YOU for your reply. Is that option part of your theme or has it always been in TB?? I never noticed it before.
Broken Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
TB ver: 31.0 on Windows 7 64-bit
This extension was only syncing in one direction previously: events created in Google Calendar would appear in Lightning (but only if you exited and restarted TB). With the 0.32 update the syncing is completely broken. Frankly I don't understand why TB doesn't include support for what is probably the most popular calendar service.
TB ver. 35.x to 38.5.0: as another user reported, I'm constantly getting the "event changed on server" prompt that you can't bypass. Clicking "reload" does nothing - the prompt reappears in about two second. Clicking "submit" gets you past the prompt until the next TB session..then its back. This is maddening!
Why isn't this being updated? ; ; Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Such a fundamentally useful addon that seems to have been abandoned. Sad.
If you don't have this addon you're doing it wrong Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Step 1: Install Firefox 29.x
Step 2: Install Classic Theme Restorer.
Step 3: Make FF look like and behave like an actual, functional browser again.
Step 4: Rejoice with other FF users who've rejected the subverting of Mozilla by Chrome fanboys.
If you install only a single addon for FF 29, this is the one. This developer has single-handedly saved Mozilla from itself. DONATE NOW.
Seems useless Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
Seems rather overcomplicated for what it is - most people want either just a bookmark backup or *everything* backed up, with as little puzzling out as possible. Profile backup may work..it creates *something*. Profile restore, however, does nothing at all even though it says it completes successfully. Again, its very vague and I'm not even sure which profile FF is using or how to switch between them. It does look like a fairly professional addon despite is vagueness and fundamental failure to actually do its job.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (126.96.36.199.1-signed).
Mozilla, get a clue Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Lightning is better than Thunderbird itself, but as long as this add-on is going to be part of that half-baked email client it should at least keep up with the betas. There's no incentive to beta test TB without it.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.9). Cet utilisateur a une critique précédente de ce module.
The punks have ruined WoT Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
WoT was the first of its kind and for several years was the web reputation system everyone else tried to imitate. Unfortunately the rankings system has been abused like everything else, and for the same reasons. Users are treating WoT the same way they treat online forums, ranking sites based on whether they agree or disagree with the content. Business owners are downranking their competition. WoT has become nothing but a contest between different agendas, with hardly any concern for the original purpose of the system.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (20120926.1-signed).
Doesn't seem to do anything Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
Had it installed since last version of FF14 came out. Doesn't see my feeds, manually selecting them with Options > Feeds doesn't work either.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (188.8.131.52-signed).
I don't get it Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
I keep seeing people talking about using this with Google calendars and the like but I cannot find ANY support for .ical or anything else in the options, etc. If its there its so well hidden it that it still deserves the rating I gave.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.5).
Pretty good! Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Decent replacement for the ruined Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar. To see titles all the time, *uncheck* items in "Bookmarks names displaying/hiding" section and check "Multi-Row bookmarks bar" and "Show the name of bookmarks". One complaint: I get occasional slight pauses while navigating live bookmark dropdown lists with a mouse, which didn't happen with Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (184.108.40.206-signed).
