Awesome! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This is really awesome addon. Thank you.

I would appreciate that idea of the custom tag with information about subject plus some another way how to define what files add to enclosure.

Great! I was looking for something to let me set the font family/size when replying and this does just the job.

This add-on was extremely helpful in helping me create professional looking email templates and the developer was a gem helping me iron out my faults in logical use of HTML.

How to add an "insert here" in a template. Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Errr, forgive my silliness...
But how can I add a token in the template, to indicate that body text should "insert-here", not the end of the template?

just like this↓
<body>
<!-- message body section -->
!insert-here
<!-- signature section -->
signature
</body>

Or is there any manual I should referred to?
Thanks

Just put any HTML with the attribute stationery="signature-placeholder" or stationery="content-placeholder". I usually use SPAN. Note that whole tag will be replaced by signature/quoted content.

The "without stationary" is redundant when you have lightning, since lightning gives the write button "message" along with "event" and "task". Can you make it so I can remove the "without stationary"?

The "without Stationery" menu is definitaly NOT equivalent of the Lignthning "New message" menu!

The "without Stationery" menu is definitaly NOT equivalent of the Lignthning "New message" menu. One starts a new message without any template, other starts a message with the default template.
Anyway, menus from the the Lightning are not my concern, even if they duplicate functionality.

Great Addon when you have multiple E-Mail accounts and IDs Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

One of the most needed TB addons I use (I have multiple mail-accounts for different voluntary organizations) and really like to easily change the HTML-template. Thank you and keep up this good work!
I'm searching for optimized (current HTML-capable E-Mail readers tested) HTML-Template-code: maybe this plugin could include sample code?

Automatically deletes email messages Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

I have used this for a while and it was good and OK, however last few days it now deletes my entire email message if I change the outgoing sending mail account after I have typed my message. This is a new bug and is very very irritating as I keep losing lengthy composed emails...if this is not fixed then this add-on is not functional.

It is not a bug, it is a feature.

It is not a bug, it is a feature requested by many users.

When the user "change the outgoing sending mail account" aka "change the identity", the Stationery automatically apply s default template for the new identity.

If You do not like this, just turn it off in the Stationery options.

Yes, changing the template discards all You typed to the message so far. There is no good way to prevent it, I tried many ways so far. It is why the Stationery displays a warning and confirmation dialog before changing anything. If You click "Cancel", message will remain unchanged. If You do not see the dialog, You probably disabled it, in this case go to the options and enable it again.

By the way, next time You have a problem with the Stationery add-on, just write to me, my support e-mail is available on the add-on page.

Doesn't work with multiple accounts with custom signatures Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

It was working before, but recently stopped. I have two accounts with different HTML signatures, for different customers. I can no longer switch between them; only the first signature (of the first account) is ever displayed. Disabling the Stationery addon makes it work again: I can switch signatures as before.

Bug reports, (again...)

If You have a problem like this, You should just report it to me. The email to support is on add-on page, but I repeat it again here: arivald@interia.pl

I usually fixing bugs fast, and Your report could help other people... Now I know there is problem, but I can't replicate it, and I can't contact You... So Your review is basically useless.

Strange problem... Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

It works very well when I write a new email, but if I am forwarding an email, I can not see the images of my template.

Empty Source Tab when replying or forwarding Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Strangely, I only get the HTML source view with NEWLY created mail, not when editing a replied or forwarded mail. With the latter, the HTML source tab is simply blank :(

(Everything used to work in TB 3, but now not anymore in TB24)

Thanks for supporting the SmartTemplate4 Addon in 0.8! This made both addons even more useful! I can now use fully styled html templates and the convenient user interface of selecting templates via single-click; whilst using the powerful variables available in SmartTemplate4. Definitely a very useful productivity tool.

With Stationery+ST4, it is very easy to set up form letters such as support replies and save tons of time when replying to support mail. We are thrilled about this new version.

A nice and usefull extension that work well and allow to make his own html templates.

Some tip, Add this tag in head section to avoid special character problems :

Feature request :
Use title tag content to create email subject would be great... the only thing i miss from this extensions !

Thanks Arivald !

Document encoding.

is not only way to set document encoding.
First, Stationery detect BOM mark in Unicode files, supporting UTF-16 (both endianity) and UTF-8.
But if there is no BOM, Stationery looks for encoding information in or tags.

About title to subject: no way. But maybe I can add support for custom with information about subject...

A Simple How-To Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

It took me a while to figure out how to use this. For the benefit of others, and myself a year from now, if I've forgotten:

To create a template: open your favorite text editor and make a simple html file (example below) containing some CSS style rules, html tags and/or content. Save it to the folder of your choice. (I chose a folder in my dropbox, to make my template available on my desktop and my laptop.) Choose this folder as your default path in Stationery Options -> Default folder.

To use your template: when composing a message, right-click somewhere in the body of the message (with the Edit tab active), and choose Change Stationery. The first time, you will have to choose the "Other Stationery" folder, but after that the template will be listed as one of the choices. Alternatively, you can hit the drop-down arrow next to Write or Reply and choose a template or "Without Stationery."

The next time you compose a message, whatever template you used in your previous message will be in effect, but you can switch as described above.

Note that you can edit the template while in your message draft, by going to the Source (HTML) tab.

Now for a sample template, intended as a starting point. You may put internal style rules inside the head, but they won't show up in gmail; therefore I used inline styles.

Outline template that will work in gmail

item one

item two

sub one

sub two

item three

normal text

Highly Useful & Efficient - Needs Folders & Subject Option Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Thank you for this plugin.

Feature Request 1: Since I use so many templates, I would really love to see folders available from within the template manager. I would like to be able to create folders and place templates inside that folder. This also means that, when selecting a template, you could browse and click through the subfolders, rather than having a single, lengthy list of templates. Without this ability, I will likely have to use "Other Stationary..." to select from folders in the resulting browser. I am grateful for this ability, as it serves as a work-around for the lack of folders within the template manager.

Feature Request 2: The only other thing this tool does not offer which TB's own templates offer is a way to save the subject of the email with the template. It would be great if this were possible with this plugin. Perhaps some code in the HTML, or an option within the "Manage Templates" section.

Other Feedback:
Apart from those two things, this plugin is exactly what I was looking for in order to maintain templates for Thunderbird by referencing an HTML file. This is faster when making updates to templates, as opposed to opening each template in TB, highlighting all, inserting HTML, saving as a template, then dragging that template to the folder I want it in.

Definitely 4 stars! 5 stars with folder capability and subject pre-fill!

HTMLメールの作成時に! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
