This extension is a usability nightmare; the only saving grace is that it actually works. Since the copy icon doesn't actually work, having to click like crazy on the password and manually copy it before it finally goes anywhere sucks. And why no right-click menu? This is no replacement for the original Passwordmaker.

This useless piece of junk doesn't actually recognize or download any pictures or video, no matter how many times you refresh, even with ctrl-f5. But if you want to save random json or css files, this is your extension!
Does everything it says it will Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Contrary to Anon.426068's assertion, this plugin works perfectly with the current release version of Thunderbird. It's only the latest BETA version that it isn't yet compatible with. Only beta users will be impacted, which is what happens when you're on beta.
Aside from that, it mostly does an excellent job of syncing multiple Google calendars without many problems. Google doesn't support canceled events, and this plugin doesn't have any kind of "fake" support, so canceled events just disappear. The only other problem is that it seems to stop syncing after the PC goes to sleep.
But aside from those minor things, I literally could not live without this plugin in my day-to-day work anymore, now that I need a mobile sync. It's the most important plugin I have.
Abandoned Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
Abandoned, hasn't worked in ages.
Doesn't work in latest FF Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
As long as it at least worked, I didn't mind the (disabled) adware included too much, but now it doesn't even work at all. There are lots of other choices that are still updated.
Note: When a plugin is signed, that means it's signed by mozilla.org, not by the original developer.
Still working great after all these years Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Still works great, even though websites are getting more aggressive about annoying Adblock users.
Someone below reported that it was infected, but the URL they pointed to an HTTPS certificate verification link, which means their broken antivirus blocking certificate verification is the real problem. Ignore them.
Spyware with a lousy interface Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
Looking through the source code, I found out that it reports back every single video that you download. SPYWARE!!!! Plus it's adware too. None of this is in the description.
For some reason this doesn't want to be so much a "downloader" as a whole video library within your browser. It's slow and it sucks and it puts ads everywhere and pops up pointless messages, plus it's missing newer Youtube formats, but it's the only one that supports Vimeo well. It'd be 3-star if it wasn't for the spyware.

Had this for years, still as great as ever.
Very good and very bad points Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
The good: It can download all DASH formats! Very useful. A convenient button is provided.
The bad: It requires ffmpeg to even recognize audio at all, instead of showing raw streams. Once you configure ffmpeg, you have to restart the browser, but it doesn't tell you that. Once you configure ffmpeg, there's no way to download bare DASH video streams, you have to let it mux in audio. It forces either H264/AAC or WEBM/Vorbis on you, but the best WEBM/AAC is always the absolute top quality available. The button is impossible to move, it's permanently welded to the left of the address bar, instead of being able to move it to the main menu or elsewhere, and it's always there on non-YouTube sites. No right click options.
Enough problems that despite the fact that it works, unlike many plugins, I'll probably uninstall it and look for an alternative.
Doesn't play nice with Firefox Session Manager Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
This extension seems to have serious problems. No matter what I do with my original window, it keeps trying to force me to create a new windows when I press ctrl-T to make a new tab, and no matter how many times I close that window it keeps popping up with all of the closed tabs reopened. (As well as any other way of opening a tab, like clicking an email link or opening a link in a new tab from the old window.) Basically there's no way to get rid of its tabs, even if I close all but one I can't close the last one, and if I close the window on that last one, it'll still be there when the window pops up again. I have dozens of tabs already in the old window, I'm not going to delete them all for one extension. Such a major problem out the gate means I can't even be bothered to keep it, even though it seems like it could have been useful.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (0.14.2012122901.1-signed).
Doesn't work very well in 12 or 13 Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
There is a serious problem in FF12 and up (maybe 11 also): When you use the context menu, it opens a blank new tab and two copies of the translation tab, which is a big waste and slow if you are low on memory. Otherwise, it works reasonably well, though the way it always processes something in the context menu before you can click it is annoying. The other problems are more related to Google Translate than this extension.
