Absolutely hopeless IMO. First it opened a pile of tabs asking me to login, all repeating the same request.
Then it hung forever saying it was syncing which should not of been necessary as it was already synced before the update. The sync has never completed!
Oh and it keeps opening tabs with information which is not needed.
God I hate web extensions. If this is an example then I will avoid them and move to a different browser as soon as 52.x ESR ends. Until I will avoid all updates that use web extensions.
I am rolling back to the previous version and leave this POS alone.
Still getting infinite loading problem Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
v3.0 with Firefox 52.4.0ESR is not working all the time. On many occasions it sticks on the loading spinning arrows and never completes. Therefore I do not think that this issue is fixed for everyone.
At times it does work but at other times it does not. I am not sure why that is.
Only works for a very short time Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
It simply does not work for more than a brief time. After that the toolbar button stops responding to clicks even though it does indicate matching logins. This has happened repeatedly on multiple windows installs with multiple browsers, both Firefox and Waterfox. Autofill is a nuisance and so is autosubmit so I do not use either. That means without the button working to select the login, it is utterly useless.
Uninstalling and re-installing does seem to get it working again but I do not have time to keep doing this so frequently.
ATM it is working in my other browser. I am using multiple firefox profiles. There does seem to be problems with this extension.
Lazarus can still be used with v52.x.x ESR Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
For anyone who still wants to use this extension, I recommend that you stick to the ESR (Extended Support) branch of 52.x.x. That branch is still being updated with security patches for the time being. How long that will continue is unknown by me but there was a very recent update to 52.3.0 which I am using ATM. That was updated since I Iast downloaded so it is receiving updates.
If you sandbox your browser then it would not really matter as nothing can get onto your system which is the best method to use web facing applications IMO.
Therefore, at least for the moment, you can still use Lazarus if you wish to. But Mozilla is still denying the download to v52 Firefox builds unless you stop scripting using something like uMatrix. The release details does say that Lazarus is only compatible with 3.0 to 15 therefore v52+ is doing quite well IMO.
Not working for me with userstyles Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I am having trouble adding styles on userstyles. It worked before but not anymore. The add to stylus popup shows and then the style is not added the userstyles are empty after adding. I have tried a few styles with the same result.
Adding styles more manually by copying the userstyle code and saving it does work. Have userstyles found a way to stop Stylus from adding styles easily? Their site is very difficult to navigate not allowing right click and opening styles in new tabs, attempting to stop copy unless the keyboard is used.
Unfortunately even after adding manually I cannot find the style in the installed styles screen. The only way I have of knowing that a style is installed is by the number that now shows on the Stylus button when I visit the site that the style sheet applies to. It did not do that before when I confirmed to install the stylesheet from userstyles.
[EDIT] Strangely, if I click on the style, which I manually installed, shown in the drop down list shown under the Stylus button while the installed styles page is open the style then appears on the installed styles page. Surely this is a bug? It should show after being installed.
Unfortunately all this makes it far more difficult to use.
[EDIT2] After more testing, I disabled Greasemonkey and FEBE and after a restart Stylus then worked. However after re-enabling those two extensions Stylus now works and can install userstyles from the website. They are also showing where they should do. I am not sure why this happened but I am glad to say it is now working okay.
I refuse to upgrade my Browser until Lazarus is resurrected! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I have been using this for a very long time and it really helps with some forums that like to trash posts because of ridiculous time outs. It has save me countless times.
It's unfortunate that this no longer works with newer firefox builds.
For forum use etc I am sticking with the last browser build that works with it and will not upgrade unless Lazarus is resurrected.
I have had some problems installing Lazarus on Waterfox 52.0.2, I cannot find a WF v53. Mozilla addons says it;s not compatible with v52 which is wrong. I downloaded the extension and installed that without a problem. So why is mozilla addons saying it is incompatible?
No other browser extension works anywhere near as well as Lazarus IMO. The ones recommended as alternatives are not alternatives IMO. I tried them and they were a waste of space and really not worth installing.
Does not work with a script Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
I could not find any options for one script that I use called W.A.R. Links Checker Premium. The hosts cannot be enable which means the script is none functional. It shows in a sub menu in Greasemonkey as Configuration. The same happens with ViolentMonkey. Only Greasemonkey allows the script to function.
Lots of nice options but not much use if the script does not work.
Lazarus resurrection Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I really miss this extension after going past v53. It has saved long forum posts on many occasions. It would be good if this could be resurrected and made to work on later versions of Firefox. I did read about someone who is looking into updating it but so far I do not think the project has got anywhere.
Hopefully, someone with some coding skills can get this working again because nothing else matches or gets anywhere close to Lazarus.
Form history control is not an alternative to this extension, it does not deserve mentioning in the same breath IMO. I am currently using textarea cache, it does some basics but does not come close to Lazarus.
Not working Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
Not working for me on Win 7 x64 SP1 with Firefox v54. I did have Text Area Cache installed but disabled but have removed that which has changed nothing. The toolbar button shows "There is no cache here!" when it is clicked. That is the same with this Mozilla extension edit box.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (2.2.8).
The fastest Custom Style Sheet Extension Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This is an excellent extension which works very well. I have used Stylish in the past but after the changes that were made to that I have stopped using that. I have also tried Freestyler which worked fairly well, much like Stylish but was extremely slow in setting the CSS. Pages would load with white backgrounds and takes ages before the page was altered to remove the white page backgrounds. FreeStyler is a little easier to use than StylRRR but far too slow for my requirements.
So I am back with StylRRR and will continue to use it.
Nice but with one major problem for me Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
It works and I hope that it does not have the the unwanted "extras" that Stylish extension now seems to have but there is one thing which lets it down for me. When pages load, the CSS seems to take ages before it takes effect. This means that white pages, which the web seems littered with, are present for far longer than I would like. I do not remember this being a problem for stylish or styleRRR. StyleRRR is less feature rich and more trouble to use but does seem to setup the CSS much more quickly.
No longer working properly with 50.1 - it is now. Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I have used this extension for a very long time. Mainly with very early versions of firefox and more recently with Palemoon.
I installed it and show profile extension with Firefox 50.1 and I can not view the bookmarks in the Bookmark manager. It shows some but any sub folders do not display any bookmarks and only shows the sub folder names without displaying any bookmarks contained in the sub folder.
It does seem to go to the folder but it's not much use when it stops the bookmarks working properly.
It's a pity because it was a useful extension when it worked.
[EDIT] Strangely, I disabled the show parent folder extension and restarted Firefox. Then the bookmarks which were not visible became visible and things worked as they should. I re-enabled the extension again and restarted Firefox and now everything is working. Go parent folder and show parent folder do need to be used together so both need to work. I did try restarting Firefox before disabling the extensions and that did not fix anything. I will keep an eye on it to see if there are any further problems.
Gone back to 18.104.22.168 Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I updated to 1.0.29 from 22.214.171.124 which is now more compatible with Palemoon v27.0.x. When using Palemoon v26.x any version above 126.96.36.199 would forget the entry in the search box when the Tab Hunter window was opened so I stuck with 188.8.131.52.
I updated to the most recent (v1.0.29) and the search is now remembered but every time I open the Tab Hunter window it searches for tabs and it is incredibly slow! 600+ tabs takes quite a while whereas 184.108.40.206 did it almost instantly and would only search when return was hit which worked much better and was much faster when the search did not need to be repeated. I use it to trim old repeated tabs which build up and having to re-search every time males it take far more time than I want.
My advice is stick to the older version which works fast and provides what you need providing that it works with your browser version.
Current version does not support Pale Moon Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
Unfortunately, although the author mentions Pale Moon and supporting the PM browser, the current version does not install on the current PM version which when in Firefox compatibility mode displays Firefox 24.9, below the v26 that the current version requires. Older versions install but that means no updates for any newer PM versions.
I have tried disabling FF compatibility mode and it makes no difference to whether it will install.
While FF continues to ramp up version numbers seemingly by the day and Free Memory v2.0 supports them for anyone using PM they are stuck with no support for their browser.
Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
It used to work quite well up until recently but I have run into problems where it would not select the page items to monitor.
Unfortunately for all fellow Palemoon users this will no longer work with PM because this extension no longer supports Palemoon as PM uses modified Firefox source code which declares it's compatibility as being v24.9.
That means a parting of the ways for Distill and Palemoon. :o(
Not Working very well at first but okay after restart Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Required a restart before it worked properly
Worked very well but not any longer - Quickly fixed by latest update Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Unfortunately Screengrab no longer works with PaleMoon 25.x. I have found that it stopped working after v0.97.24c because no button shows anywhere so it cannot be used. Selecting either the toolbar or addon bar for displaying the button and no button is displayed. Also no right click menu is visible after v0.97.24c.
Palemoon is available in portable versions and zip versions on the ftp site if you want to check for yourself. I'm just about to try the AVX x64 build.
v0.97.24c is working at the moment for Palemoon v25.1.0 but that is not ideal as the version number increases.
The reason for the delay is that I don't often upgrade my browser version and extensions with it so frequently breaking so many different things such as extensions etc. I have only just noticed which screengrab version works with the current Palemoon v25.1.0 which I have only very recently upgraded and only today noticed that screengrab is not working when I came to use it.
Thank you for the quick fix, I can confirm that it is all now working very well
An obscure bug Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I have been experiencing issues with the extension for a long time. It sometimes states that the dates are overlapping when they are not.
Check the Reminder Date Span (Start to End Date) with the selected 'Repeat' selection.
Start: October 18 2014
End: October 20 2017
Repeat Biweekly (Every other Saturday)
Remind daily until complete
I was attempting to edit a previous reminder to change the day/date, moving it back a day to the day before. Set for an advanced date. ReminderFox does not seem to like it.
Other than this it is excellent.
GMail broken Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
3.4.1 stopped working with GMail and only checked and reported on one account with all the rest reporting no emails when I know that there are unread emails because they did show up a little earlier.
3.4.2 update makes no difference.
I'm using Palemoon 24.6.2 which is well behind the current FF version. No PM update done, GMail just stopped working with X-Notifier.
It seems that the problem is due to the inbox configuration. Emails which were unread showed as new mail but after setting up the promotional tab with unread emails in it, X-Notifier is no longer showing them as new unread mail.
Doesn't work in the UK like it says Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles
This doesn't seem to work in the UK like the information suggests. I cannot find any UK store which has any codes, eBay, Amazon, large department stores, nothing! There is no Market option for the UK in the options so it doesn't look like there is any support despite there claiming to be. I have tried it on USA stores and the browser bar did shows coupons available so the extension is working. Please fix the details so people don't waste time on extensions which are of no use in specific locations.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (220.127.116.11-signed.1-signed).
