HTTP/2 and SPDY indicator

No longer works with Firefox 53.x Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Icon no longer displays in Firefox 53.x. Presumably due to several security-related UI changes made by Mozilla.

Forecastfox (fix version)

Many useful options removed in latest version Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Menu bar no longer shows forecast options. Without this the add-on is not useful. And what is with the advertising hooks? Removing the add-on until this is fixed.

Installs AdBeaver spyware! Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Avoid this add-on, as it installs malicious AdBeaver spyware without any notification whatsoever.

Cisco WebEx Extension

Broken Firefox 64-bit support Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Used to work for Firefox 64-bit, broken again around Feb 2017.

Fast Video Download

Hidden adware Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Forces well-known Kallout SearchMenu adware to be installed, even when the SearchMenu options are disabled. This causes your search results from Google and others to be bumped downward as "SearchMenu results" are listed at the top. AVOID!

Gone to the dark side Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

No tangible improvement in speed, latest update creates pop-up to subscribe to ad-ware. The page load counter was a novelty feature, but not worth the risk given the direction the authors seem to be going.

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Huge CPU drain while syncing, to the point that Firefox is completely unusable for 30-60 seconds. A great idea, but has been buggy since the start. Give this one about 6 months to a year for v2.0 to come out and I suspect you'll be in far better shape.

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Awesome idea, but VERY buggy.

The user Interface/docs are unclear about how to set up bidirectional sync versus unidirectional (pull or push). The initial set-up makes sense, but after that there is no way to know what mode the client is in, or what the future sync behavior will be (i.e. if I choose to initially replace all Weave server data with my local data, will this always happen in the future or will it revert to bidirectional merge/sync from that point on?) The only way to change the method is to use "Start Over" feature.

Syncing of bookmarks seems to work fairly well, with the above caveat. However password sync in FF 3.6.3 appears to be broken. The sync logs show the correct number of objects being sent/received, but clients still show old/non-updated password lists. The reporting of true success/failure of syncs and statistics regarding what was updated (or not) is poor/non-existent as what shows up in the logs does not always correspond with reality.

The public/private key security method is best-in-class, avoiding the possibility that data stores on the remote server can be compromised as everything is stored encrypted, and only the client decrypts it with a locally-stored encryption passphrase, unlike other services like Xmarks/Foxmarks which rely only on a password which is stored on the remote server that could be compromised/abused.

I believe that, given time, this utility will eventually become the de-facto standard for FF profile sync, but it needs a lot more focus to become solid.

Password Exporter

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

This add-on *does* respect and require the master password if it is enabled. HOWEVER--the add-on does appear to disable/clear the master password configuration at install time, so you must reconfigure it afterward.
