I love this addon but I've been sticking to version 2.0.0 for two years. This is simply because none of the future versions allows me to use simply the "F1" key to call launcher. I tested the latest version with the same bug. If you press F1, you'll get the launcher popped up once and then the P key is automatically pressed. This is strange, but when use letters other than " P " there's no problem.
By the way, I used to invoke launcher by js : sitelauncherLauncher.invokeLauncherMode(); now with the latest version I got: error : sitelauncherLauncher is not defined.
My favorite addon stops working for a while and I have to stick to old version. I type in the address bar and hit enter, nothing happens.
UPDATE: It was a compatibility issue with tabLock_mod1.uc.js of the userchromeJS extension. Disabling the script makes Omnibar working again.
This simply works. And I don't think giving a scroll-in bar as a *problem*. No, this is not a problem, just some redundant information. But I think a program could give some feedback when it does something. While nag screen is annoying, scroll-in bar is far less. Or better still, make this information appear in the status-bar (like scrapbook).
Thanks for bring back this addon !!
The "copy to clipboard" feature still works. So I just have to paste into Photoshop.
This is still my favorite, nice and clean, easy to use example of a great Firefox extension.
Nice and clean implementation. Nice features and works really straightforward.
Just because I intend to use it as a must-have, I would like to make some humble suggestions to make it even better.
(1) Shortcut -- Click on that small icon in panic is challenging.
(2) Some user like me already hide their bookmark toolbar. It collapses to an icon (I can't provide screenshots on AMO but you can try this using menu "View-Toolbar" and uncheck "bookmark toolbar" to find the collapsed bookmark icon appearing. The *problem* is: when you toggle "Presentation Mode" and toggle back, the bookmark toolbar reappears.
(3) Pinned tabs. They are unpinned when you exit Presentation Mode.
(4) The active tab before entering Presentation Mode should be restored. Now when I exit Presentation Mode, the first tab is always active.
Thank you so much to bring us the long needed feature. Keep going in the right(er) direction than Mozilla's less useful "New private window" mishmash.
Someone brings back justice to the Mozilla SCENE. Those dirty new features make me throw up.
Thank you jooliaan!
Some tiny problem: when you start typing very quickly, the second character may get missed. E.g., open some page and quickly type "kmc", then I get only "kc". Tested multiple times and still fail (you have to type very quick). Maybe due to the laggy Firefox UI response.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (0.3.9.1-signed).

Will be even greater if all left-click events are bound to this extension's functionality.!!
Fooled or not, this is a problem. That depends to which level you are into this. I've clicked the Twitter link, read the Labs' article, opened this page, and begun writing a review. So I think, even though I decided not to install this extension (and that's simply because it's too big, 200 KB for a joke?), I've been undeniably, fooled.
Nice one. I've got plenty this year LOL.
I don't know if it's the intentional behavior: I change the color to a blue, if I don't check "also apply style to the toolbar item", the color doesn't apply. If checked, the color applies, but is rather a dull color, not the glossy WIN7 green color.
And the "show tab progress bar on: " menu is gray and disabled.
The extension itself is a 5-star, I just want to figure out how to use the new features.
Nice one (and finally)!!!
Better than Google Chrome's auto fill function! And works seamlessly with the "Switch to tab" function.
Well it's a very good choice of you bring it back.
May I ask to bring back the formal tab progress indicator (round pie)? I hate the progress line on tab which is less useful.
Thanks for this great addon.
Still the best out there. For all those whining about, from the author:
"In Gmail Checker v2.3, 'Log out of all acounts' is now inside each account's submenu. The reason is because people often misclicked it when opening the main menu."
With the new add-on bar landed recently, if I right click on Gmail checker's icon, two menu pop out, on for Firefox (containing "customize" for the addon-bar), on for Gmail checker.
Nice extension. I'd like to point out the address bar issue I've seen in the latest b6pre (version: 2010.09.10)
As you can see in this image, the rich list item is missing the url (only page title is displayed). Disable Omnibar brings back the correct behavior.
Please take a look, thanks.
Super nice extension, support!Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (1.64).
Please prepare for Firefox 4 (b4 or b5). Starting from 4.0 b4pre, Gmail Checker no longer works (failed to log in).
But it works well on 4.0b3pre.
@Skandranon314: I think what you meant by "holding down the right mouse button and scrolling the mouse wheel" can be found in Mouse Gestures extensions (Mouse gestures redox, FireGestures, etc) but not Tabber Wocky.
To the developer: It's time to think about making a full compatible version for FF4: ATM, the items like "lock/protect" don't show up in the tab context menu.
You can now get a 4.0b3pre compatible version here:
