It has been working well for me on Mac OS X. The only thing I miss is a setting to have the notification visible always. A crude workaround is that I configured Growl to show all notifications from Firefox to be "Always" visible. Not the ideal solution, but I currently don't have any other notifications coming from Firefox, so should work fine for now.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.9.1-signed).
Seems to work on Firefox 4.0 Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I am tying this review with jV enabled in Firefox 4.0 and it seems to work just fine. I used the Add-on Compatibility Reporter addon to enable jV and try it out, but you should be able to change the install.rdf to bump up the max version to 4.0.
Not a keeper Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
I didn't like it mainly because active tab looks just like others, except for the close button, and the fact that it removes close button from inactive tabs.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (0.6.20100805).

Worked beautifully as a replacement for the crappy native editor that comes with jive software. I also tried Xinha Here addon, but it messed up the formatting. I was also very happy to find that the cursor position stays at the expected position after an undo (unlike getting reset to the first row, fist column in case of Xinha Here).
I wish however that addon didn't open a new window like that. A floating pane or a bottom pane that sticks to the same tab (like Firebug) would be great and not feel like vulnerable (though I know it is a false sense but reduces the clutter, never the less).

I wanted to try a replacement for the default terrible WYSIWYG editor that came with Jive software so tried Xinha Here as well as Writer Area (FCKEditor based). I don't know if it Xinha messing up or the addon, but aftering saving and returning back to the native editor, I see a whole lot of blank lines and trailing spaces. In fact, even if I don't make any changes, it messes things up. E.g.,
- start with the jive's native editor.
- switch to html
- start Xinha here.
- Apply (no changes)
- OK to close Xinha here.
- Switch back to jive's native editor
- The formatting is messed up.
I then tried Write Area and it worked great, no problem with the formatting.
To the developer, I liked the "Bottom Bar" option of Xinha here (which Writer Area didn't offer), but the pane should really be made local to the current tab (e.g., try FireBug). Once opened, the Xinha here pane shows up in all the open tabs in that window, that is just so obstructing.
