COME ON Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
So the problem is now that the required prompt to allow to store data doesnt show up.
In diigo bookmarks, the ability to extract data you highlight just completely sucks. it does. it extracts it with all this formatted bullet points and makes it impossible to use the data you have collected. this tool would be wonderful, actually being able to USE the data that has been collected. but here is diigo doing what it does best, developing a tool that would be useful and abandoning it RIGHT before it can be useful at all. I guess you are out there developing some ipad tool, and those of us who have been waiting for YEARS can just wait.

FINALLY Diigo, Extracting Highlights Done Right! Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Why oh why won't Diigo combine all their tools into one useful tool? Each one has it's own benefits, and is lacking the qualities of the other ones. Diigo is known for being able to annotate a web page with highlights and sticky notes, as well as marketing their tools to research and academic communities, but the means of extracting those valuable notes from all that research into any useable form has been atrocious. They dabble with addons and extensions for every platform firefox, chrome, android, iphone, ipad, and who know what other platforms - and the dabbling has left all other extensions missing key tools. This is the only one that allows you to do anything really really substantial. The extension allows you to save to Google Docs. Whooorah! I can finally do something with those highlights!
The basics are missing Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
This is disappointing. What makes a note 'quick' is when the process takes a little amount of time. Having to copy what you want, then click on the tab of the application, then create a new note, then paste, well--that takes the "quick" out of quick note.
If you can do it in chrome, you should be able to do it in firefox. that is what makes something cross-browser and useful. There should be a context menu (right-click) option to add the selected text (AND IMAGE) to a new note. Since it sycs with diigo - you should be able to edit the tags. Again, making a note, then having to go to diigo.com, then going to your image library, then find the note, then edit the tags - this all takes out the 'quick' in 'quick note'.
Best Clipping Device Ever | Needs More Share-To Options Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
While the clipper beats evernote, google notebook and EVERY OTHER clipper on the internet, I am running into one snag. I can't clip to evernote - and I can't clip and directly send to email. I can clip to clipmarks - and then send to email - but i cant directly clip and send. Some things you want to clip because you want to share - thats true - but sometimes you just want to clip something to yourself without publishing it. I understand that the goal is to share, but I really wish there were more options to clip to your own personal reference. While I understand that clipmarks is more geared to this - it is clunkier and slower than this FANTASTIC clipper they have. Honestly, there is no reason for the extension - the bookmarklet is just as good and as fast. I only am giving a four because of the lack of clipping to personal spaces.
One Request Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I do really like this, but I can mimic a lot of it with firefox keywords. What would REALLY make this a 5 star application is if it could do somethings that cannot be mimicked otherwise, and here is a little suggestion. (if anyone knows how to do this please let me know!)
My biggest need for a launcher has to do with the sidebar. I use a lot of things in the sidebar, google calendar, google notebook, websearches, google tasks, toodledo, even the iphone-optimized sites like google reader and google news, picasa, flickr, etc. Launching these in the sidebar allows me to cut back on the amount of extensions i have, and really makes things faster. I keep a list of shortcuts for various applications in a google doc that open in the sidebar, and various other reference-oriented things.
However, all the bookmarks that I have to launch in the sidebar have to be manually clicked in firefox. If you assign a keyword for a shortcut that has the "load in the sidebar" option checked, then typing in the keyword will still open it in a tab, not the sidebar - and this is just a reality of the way firefox is made, so I have read. I desperately need a way to launch things into the sidebar. My bookmarks toolbar is filed with these things, and I have to use the mouse. Ick.
Then there is this WONDERFUL extension that would allow me to venture out of mouse hell and into keyboard heaven and allow me to launch bookmarks with keystrokes, a brilliant way to cater to so many of us keyboard geeks. It seems like what I need would best be found in SiteLauncher, but I cant find it.
Is it just me? Is there an option and I dont see it?
Thanks so much!
Great - But Needs Tagging Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
feedly is amazing, really - it is exactly what reader SHOULD have been. HOWEVER: it is really important that those of you who rely on tagging in google reader know that there are not tagging features in feedly, and the fabulous feature of annotating feeds with highlights and sticky notes has been removed as well. I annotate. I tag. It's annoying I can't do it in feedly. But it is a testament to how AWESOME feedly is that I still use it.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (2.14).
AAARGH!! Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
I can't believe the incredibly stupid bug in this thing. They add the ability to rightclick anywhere and make a task out of a page. great right? until you try to click on the link in the notes area and it opens IN THE SIDEBAR. and there is no way to open it in the main tab. how annoying and completely opposing the point of the context menu.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.6).

If you are a power user, or you have a million extensions, this is in your top ten downloads. the right click menu can get really cluttered and this is the best way to clean it up.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.2.6).
