You can bypass the protection. Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
I want to see if this will protect against software installing addons on me. However, I opened the add-ons page to modify the settings for them in FireFox 12 and I clicked cancel on the password box to see what would happen. It shows the page in the background and then it goes to a blank page. You can hit the escape key after you click cancel and it won't change the page.
In order to block this hacking attempt, you might consider blocking internal URLS. about:addons is the internal URL for the add-ons page and if you block access to it in a way that will only allow the page to be opened by entering the password, it'll be harder to hack.
Good program, but it captures the cursor while using CursorFX. Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
When I'm taking screen shots, I prefer if it didn't have the cursor in the picture, but other than that, its a good program. I'm using Stardock's cursor FX, but it works with it turned off.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (0.98.2).
Makes FoxTab work with the newest Flash glitch Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Adobe decided to release a new update to the flash plugin and they did so in a sneaky way. It broke FoxTab because it was not allowing access to elements that FoxTab needs to work. I can see why they did this as protecting from things like this can help stop attacks on your machine, but the sneeky part comes in as they decided not to inform anyone that this could cause MAJOR compatability issues with ANY plugins you use. They should have made the installer show a message saying that if you would like your FireFox plugins to work correctly, then you need to add them to the allowed directories. This isn't a simple security tweak. It can make or break your ability to use your system as its supposed to be used. I'm letting Adobe know about their poor choice in releasing this update.
So, here's how to fix it.

What I did was going into global configuration (right click on any flash animation) Avanced/ trusted location settings/ add/ add folder/ and selected C:Users/Your username/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles
this folder is hidden so you have to enable hidden files visualization.
I am running firefox 10.0.2 with flash player 11.1 in windows 7, and foxtab is now running without problems
It looks good, but it makes my FF 10 browser lag horribly. Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
I rated this a 4 because it looks perfect and I really wish I could keep it enabled, but as most people like this and don't report an issue, I'm going to have to say that it just hasn't been fully ported to work with Firefox 10 yet since it just came out only a few days ago as of writing this.
I hope to see this lag issue on FF 10 resolved quickly! =)
