Excellent graphical add-on Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Often we like to change our browser's skin; say, to fit with some new autumnal theme or have it show icy hills as part of an upcoming Christmas season desktop theme we've installed. Personas+ is simply perfect. It is extremely easy to use. To begin with, go to All, choose the Category that interests you and find one that you like. It opens up in a new tab and the word Undo at the top means that, if you don't like how it looks, you can revert to your previous skin. But what if you don't find what you are looking for? After all, there are thousands upon thousands of skins.
Well, here is where Personas+ excels: Go to All, then choose the category you like (say Nature). At the very bottom you will find an entry 34,578 More from Nature... If you click that entry, you will be taken to a website on a new tab: the Personas Gallery focusing on Nature Personas. You can then try on different skins one by one, or click on the Search box and put your search terms e.g. "snow trees". You will most likely encounter one of my most favourite skin authors too, MaDonna. If so, give her a shout on her website to thank her :)
All in all, an easy-to-use and great app that truly makes your Firefox look unique to suit your mood.

I have used PDF Download on many computers over a period of years and I never had any issues whatsoever. PDF Download simply gives the ability to choose what to do with a PDF file as opposed to having your browser decide that for you. If you choose to download, it also produces a small graphical blue bar at the browser's bottom add-on bar which slowly "fills up" until it is finally "full", indicating that the download is complete. It helps you to have a quick visual image of the latest PDF files you downloaded. A quick double click opens the file, though right-clicking gives you the usual options, such as opening the downloaded file's containing folder. Since I've never had any issues with this, I give it 5 stars. However, if it causes any issues with your browser (I see some people have had some issues) then by all means uninstall it. I should add here that while this is a useful app it is by no means essential.
An essential app Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
XMarks is a very good sync app I've been using for years. On occasion (as others have reported) it can get confused by something you change somewhere and end up changing your bookmarks. Personally I have never lost my Bookmarks but it is always wise to export them once a week and to back them up.
Another very useful feature of XMarks is a starred review box where you are allowed to rate a site from 1 (worst) to 5 (excellent) and even write a quick review which you can even publish on Facebook immediately, thus making the need for extra like/dislike apps (such as WOT, which have been reported by many users to slow down browsing) nonexistent.
I give it 4/5 due to the hiccups it occasionally has in terms of bookmark 'confusion'. It happens rarely but some people seem to have lost their bookmarks because of this.
So long as you export and backup your bookmarks once a week, though, I think Xmarks will soon prove to be an essential app, esp. if you often use more than one device to browse from.

I believe it is no exaggeration to say that this app is the best Firefox has to offer. Together with AdBlock it is the reason why many informed users turn to Firefox in order to browse. Be warned though: if you visit bank sites, shopping sites and elsewhere where you need to make online payments, these apps can cause issues (obviously) so you should turn them off there.Alternatively use other browsers (e.g. IE) to visit such sites. But when it comes to safe browsing use Firefox with these two apps installed.
The learning curve of NoScript can be quite high, though it all depends how deep you want to go. In other words, you will most likely be OK in most cases by simply doing nothing.
I should also mention that this app is updated on a regular basis, something essential for this type of security app.
Again, this is (without an exaggeration) the best app for Firefox.

Adblock Plus is a highly manageable app which helps you avoid the vast majority of online advertising. Now some sites do need to display ads and ask that you disable Adblock, which is fair enough. But that is YOUR choice. If you choose to use those sites whose development depends on ad money, then you can easily disable AdBlock. What about more important sites, such as banks or shopping? Rule of thumb: disable AdBlock on all such sites to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Obviously if you don't trust your bank's website, you should bank elsewhere :).
But think of those tiring ads on popular YouTube channels. No problem: AdBlock ensures you do not have to watch those ads. You can even choose to block specific ads that may still be displaying on a site. Customization is incredible and not only will you enjoy a mostly ad-free online life but you can definitely improve your browser's security at the same time.
I consider AdBlock one of the two essential apps for Firefox (the other one being NoScript). These two apps are the reason I use Firefox.
