Way better than adblock plus Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
It does a way better job than adblock plus and is easier on my aging laptop too! Inferface could be more userfriendly though. I don't know what the plus-minus thing does (for example, does a minus mean the ad is rightfully blocked or that you think it was a false positive?) and clicking on different list options only yields a text file; a quick summary about what sets it apart from other lists would be very usefull. I also have no idea how to exit element selection mode.

you get a warning now Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I used to hate the non-obtrusive ads thing. Now that I did a clean install, I saw you get a warning now explaining it and a link to the settings to turn it off. This makes it much more acceptable to me. Great addon, will continue to use it.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (188.8.131.52-signed). Other uses too Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This is actually quite helpfull for elderly people. If my grandparents get 'dazzled' by a page ("what if I misclick and the computer EXPLODES?!"), I just hide what they don't need and present a much calmer page to them. Yeah, I could use other addons, but the less 'fancy gizmos' in their browser, the better. Sometimes the best way for you isn't the best way for someone else, and if it works, why not?Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (1.3.1-signed).
must have Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
The effort alone is already worth five stars. Together with 'Fangs', this will greatly speed up the webdevelopment process for blind/severely dyslectic users.
Helpfull tool Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I'm redesigning a website for a client, who wants it to be more friendly for visitors with disabilities. This addon helps me test my code for screwups ("bulletone.gif, bullettwo.gif, bulletthree"... arg!) and saves a lot of headache!
used to be great Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles
I've been using this add-on for years, but I'm afraid I'll have to disable it for the time being. It lately has a habit of rearanging my bookmarks and making an absolute mess of my tags! Things seem to go awry when I bookmark all open tabs, ad new tags, or place existing tags inside folders. It will then show a bunch of old and long gone bookmark-all-tabs bookmarks inside that tag. I'm sorry because this used to be a marvelous add-on, but I can't work like this. Sigh...Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (220.127.116.11-signed). I though I was the only one who had this problem Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Its funny, but I had no idea how much the default behaviour of firefo annoyed me, until I installed this addon.
close last tab > enter app tab > click a few links > realise you just messed up your whole 'system' and frantically click the back button > forget what you were looking for > click forward > mess up app tab AGAIN
I wish that opening a new normal tab when closing the last one was a buildin choice in the Firefox options menu, but at least now I can use this addon. Thanks a milion!

I LOVE this thing! my grandmother has bad fingerjoints and this addon really helps her surf the web with less typing. She could use speech-to-text software, but she refuses because it 'makes her feel old'... even though she's 98, hahaha! XD
Lifesaver! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
You never know how much you use your bookmarks untill you want to replace your harddisk and realize far, far too late you're hammering the wrong one to pieces.
Yup. Fail of the year.
I lost my files that day, but not my bookmarks. If you don't install this, you're either crazy or you have a life outside the internet... which is basically the same thing. ;-)
And to another reviewer here: don't one-star it because it does what it promises to do, rather than just what YOU want. Its not the addon's fault if you're too lazy to read the description.
It's not about adding new features, it's about removing unwanted ones Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Some people don't seem to get the point of this fork. It is not about adding shiny new features; its about restoring a good-addon-turned-bad to it's former glory.
Do I have a problem with supporting small websites? No.
Do I have a problem with installing something called 'addBLOCKER' that uses an option-out system in order to live up to its name? Yes.
Do I have a problem with said addon if it claims this is needed to protect small websites, when this apparently includes Amazon and other websitegiants that are notorious for disrespecting userprivacy? You better believe I do!
This is not just a fork; its a signal that some of us won't sell out that easy.
An unexpected Evernote tool Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
I love Evernote, but it is very fussy when it comes to tables. This addon helps save a lot of frustration, especially if you like to change the way the data is sorted before posting it in a new note. Excellent!

This addon gives me mixed feelings. On one side, I'm really glad it exists, but on the other side, I shouldn't be needing an addon to fix this issue in the first place. Oh well.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (initial.rev20.1-signed.1-signed).
Duplicate engines for fun and profit Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Four reason why I want to marry this addon:
1) I can set shortcuts that even my (almost non-existent) memory can hold on to.
2) I can finally, FINALLY change the default search engine of the adress bar when used without shortcuts, without messing up and scarring poor Firefox config settings for life.
3) DuckDuckGo settings without cookies or saving them in the cloud! Just set the settings how you like them, copy the generated booklet url, do a search, replace the searchword in the url you get with %q and voila! You're set!
4) You could be native Dutch/German/Spanish/Martian, but sometimes need to get English search results. Or maybe you just like to change your DuckDuckGo link colors on saturdays without having to redo the settings everytime. We won't judge you. But whatever your fancy, this addon can make your life a lot easier by creating duplicate engines with each their own shortcut to quickly switch between settings. Experiment!
Farewell, searchbar. You served me well, and I thank you for that, but it looks like there's a new kid in town.
Easy to use, a blessing to have Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This is one of the easiest add-ons I've used in years. Most options and menus speak for itself, and if you still need help, almost all of them have an extensive explanation available with just one click of a button. Don't be fooled though: it might not look like rocket science, but its possibilities are nothing to sneeze at. The default settings are already great, but once combined with a Dropbox folder, this add-on is a BEAST.Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (18.104.22.168.1-signed).
six stars if I could Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This tool is ideal for quickly grabbing a piece of a page and saving it on your computer, or jotting down a few quick notes and share it with others. However, my favorite function has to be the ability to quickly (no fuss, just click and save) grab an entire page, without having to make thirty seperate screenshots and trying to them together pixelperfect in photoshop. Perfect for those 100-year old online tutorials that you *know* are going to dissapear when you need them the most. Using it in FF15 and giving it five stars (six if I could!)Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (2.5.1).
Together with Xmarks, TagSieve is unbeatable Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This should be standard in FireFox. FF15 broke the link in the bookmarksmenu, but everything else seems to work just fine after you add the blue icon to the toolbar. This is not done automatically. I prefer it this way, because I dislike new addons that clutter by toolbars without asking, but some users might be confused what to do after install.
My ABSOLUTE favorite, is how I can click the blue icon and a list of all my tags shows up. I click a tag and a second menu shows all bookmarks with that tag, plus a new list of all my tags. I choose another tag, and now I only get bookmarks that have BOTH tags.
For example, I have three tags: tutorials, photoshop, software. Depending on the order I click the tags, I can get different selections, such as the following:
Photoshop > software = sites that have software to use with photoshop.
Photoshop > tutorials = sites that have great photoshop tutorials that I bookmarked for future reference
Software > tutorials = software I use to make my own tutorials to post on my blog
Once you realize the power of this system, you will never go back to regular folders again.
Tip: if you don't want to spend days re-tagging hundreds of bookmarks after a systemcrash (html backups do NOT hold tags!), get Xmarks as well. Together, these two are unbeatable!

Ive been looking for a long time for something like this :)
What would absolutely make it perfect is some way to also remove leftover files and folders from the profile folder in user/app/roaming in windows. I have no idea if its possible, but a suggestion cant hurt ;)
dont close the window, dont... oh, crap. Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Is your blogging behavior something like this?
* find great piece of advice
* decide to use it in that tutorial you're crafting in an external text editor
* tell yourself to copy the text first, then go back and copy the url and name of original author, THEN close the window!
* repeat mantra: "copy, dont close in instinct, copy, dont close on instinct, copy, dont..."
*go to memebase and make ragecomic about how you closed the window on instinct
If you answered "yes", you want this add-on.
