Minimize Addon-Bar

The Best Of It's Kind Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This was the second add-on of this kind I've used but is, by far, the one that does the best job.

Thanks to Minimize Addon-Bar, the add-on bar doesn't occupy more space than it has to and one has the ability to minimize to the size of a small button it when it's not needed. It support both current add-on items and old status bar items, although the latter support needs to be enabled in the options.

It also integrates Download Statusbar leaving it on the left side of the screen, and resizes it according to the amount of current downloads.

The find text bar also gets stylized nicely. It gets placed above the add-on bar, but separated from it and with a really nice look.

The only issue I have with Minimize Addon-Bar is that it ignores the scroll bars and covers them.

Great Concept, Not So Great Execution Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

This add-on was the first one of it's kind that I've used.

It shortens the add-on bar, increasing Firefox's webpage area and functionality. It also integrates Download Statusbar into it's minimalistic appearance.

Unfortunately, after retesting it for 10min I found that many bugs remain still.
As mentioned by No Nothing, the bar doesn't always stay collapsed and it always pops back up on changing tabs.

I've also found that, when there are downloads running on Download Statusbar and the find text bar (Ctrl+F) is active, the bars become messy, with an empty bar at the bottom and Barlesque unintentionaly merging into the find bar.

I recommend using Minimize Addon-Bar instead.

I've been missing this add-on since Firefox 4.0 was launched, because there was never an update here and just now I realized that there is a newer version in the developer's site.

There are a few other add-ons that do a similar job, but none does it this good and with so much costumization options.

The only flaw I can point is the lack of an updated add-on button, instead of the old status bar icon.

Just hope it gets updated here as well.

Multicolumn Bookmarks

Very Limited Functionality Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

The idea of having a multicolumn bookmark menu is great, since it's a lot handier than Firefox's default single column.

Problem is it only works in the menu bar, the one with the options "File", "Edit", "View"...
It would be a lot more useful if it worked also for the bookmark button that is lokated in the navigation bar or in the bookmark bar and in the firefox button.

Is that function planed to be implemented?

/edit: since Personal Menu add-on makes use of the old bookmarks in the menu bar to display them in a custom button, Multicolumn Bookmarks (MB) became of more use to me. Unfortunately, the bookmark list doesn't display properly with MB: there's a small extra space before every divider.

Great add-on.
Gives some color to an otherwise lifeless and boring monochromatic interface.

Quick Search Bar

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

One of the best addons someone can wish for.
Saves a lot of time on web searches and looks great.
Can't live without it.

I was trying to contact the developer trough his contact page, but I was detected to be a spambot (lol), so I'm gona try it here.

is it not possible not to display the add-on menu at the top, when we select some text on a page?

If text is selected, I probably want to copy it and not access CoLT to copy page title and link.

It's counter-intuitive that an extension is replacing the default and (in this case) more useful feature.

Other than that, it seems to work quite nicely.

Keep up the good work.

Prevent Tab Overflow

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This is a very nice extension, alongside with the CSS code, it brings a mix of Windows 7 and MacOS feel into Firefox.

It saves up a lot of scrolling back and forth to find the tab you are looking for.

Thank you very much for this!

Note: I was trying to delete my previous review, as the add-on was updated and improved since then, but I don't think i can. :/

Prevent Tab Overflow

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

It's a very cool add-on, but for me it's not working like in the picture.
Every tab gets resized to the minimum tab size, no matter if it's the active tab or one of the others.

I was expecting that the active tab and a few others around it (maybe the amount could be configured in the settings) would keep their regular width and those further away would only display the tab icon, allowing fast access and saving space.

/Edit: Just noticed I wasn't loged in when I tried to edit/delete this review before. Anyway, I've posted a new one.

Cleanest Addon Manager

Perfect! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Unlike Slim Add-ons Manager, Cleanest Addon Manager actualy fits my 1024 horizontal resolution, without the need for a scrollbar.

I'm thinking the Add-on Collector should have this function in the subscriptions aswell. I'm gona fill a ticket request at Bugzilla. If they don't do it, maybe you could add support for it too? :)

Great job!
