Worked, BUT.... Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles
Worked nicely for me but, as other commenters said, it loads its homepage occasionally (perhaps once a day? No idea) when FF starts up. This is a no no for me. Dumped it quickly.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (126.96.36.199-signed).

Very nice. Just want to mention for those that are having problems with the use of "expressions" that this add-on works very well, even without using any "expressions" at all. Just entering any relevant word will do. What was a little bit confusing at first was that the correct identity will get picked only the moment you click on the "Save" button.

Thanks for a great tool that I've been using for quite some time already. I just discovered that the later versions even allow to color the identities in the composing window (in the drop down list with identities that seems to get longer and longer ;-)).
Question: would it be technically possible to include an option to change also the background colors of the sub-identities? Right now, picking a background color works only for the main identity of each account. I'd like to make a few identities really stand out (so I won't use them inadvertently) by giving them a dark background and a bright font.

I believe there's either a bug or incompatibility that doesn't work with my TB 10 (esr). The "thunderfoxing" cannot be undone when toggling the "extensions.tildebirlik.privacy.blend-in.messenger.thunderfoxing" string. Also, I see NO OTHER values in about:config except "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0". So, I assume, it's simply not possible to use an updated (most used) TB user agent (and not FF 40). As ulf3000 below said, this would make TB actually more fingerprintable. But works fine for me in FF.
ADD: In answer to your reply, "As of now restart is required upon change of thunderfoxing setting"
-That's not the issue, I did restart. With the latest "Blend In" versions there simply seems to be no entry in TB's "about:config" for a most used version of TB (only a FF entry). The last "Blend In" version that still had such a TB entry seems to be Blend In 38.0t31.6.0 which I'm sticking to, right now.
Only Version1 works with TB Portable v.10 (ESR) Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Great little tool. At first I downloaded version 2 and it didn't have ANY effect at all in my TB portable (v.10 ESR). Later in the day I tried out version 1 ...and it works!!! Yippee!

Cute! It's one of those very few newer add-ons that easily can be made compatible with older versions of FF by editing the "install.rdf" file in the known manner (works here with a FF 10.0, if <em:min version> is set to 10.0). I wish one could compress the height of the bookmark bar yet a bit more, but there's probably a limit to how far one can go with compression.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (1.0.1-signed.1-signed).
Effective -could need info Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Love the simplicity and effectiveness of this one. Using this add-on, the FF version will be 10.0 and the OS will be Windows 7. A test at panopticlick.eff.org showed this to be the best result I managed to get so far at that site (the column "one in x browers have this value" has the lowest values). So this add-on really does its job, and for me its a keeper. But how about giving more info about what it does, also about the "other stuff", it fakes? ;-)Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (0.0.4.1-signed.1-signed).

This has been an indispensible tool for me for quite some time now. Just the other day, I noticed that I can't duplicate (or "copy") the search engines within the list. If I press CTRL + left mouse button and move the mouse, that little plus sign [+] (indicating duplicating instead of just moving) below the mouse pointer indeed appears, but it doesn't duplicate or copy the link and only "moves" it within the search engines list.
Copying (instead of just moving) the link would be useful if you have different folders that you like to open via the "Open All in Tabs" command and some folders should have the same SE as some other folder.
Issue with chronological order Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
This is a really nice idea, but I had issues with the chronological order of emails after customizing the "year" format. I wanted to use the add-on to shorten the standard date format to save horizontal space. So I reduced the "year" format from the usual 4 digits to the last two digits (like 2012 to just 12). It works, but then the chronological order of emails gets mixed up (especially if new mail arrives). One can correct the mixed up order, shortly, by clicking on SDF's own new "Date" column again, but it keeps reverting to the mixed up order. Had to deactivate the add-on. It would be nice, if the add-on could keep the logical chronological order of the standard date format while displaying the new customized date format.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (1.0).
Works even with Portable Firefox Versions Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
It works even with the portable version I'm using (like this: "...\FirefoxPortable.exe -preloader"). Improved start up speed is quite noticeable, perhaps twice as fast (or perhaps even only a third of the previous start-up time) with the about 50 add-ons I'm using. For me this add-on is definitely a keeper. Thanks!
This is sweet!!! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
In case someone can't see his second, etc. profile: in my TB the second profile only shows up, if the "Custom button"-option for the first profile gets unclicked. (But you can still create a custom button for the first profile, as long as the "Custom button"-option is clicked, you just have to unclick it afterwards for the second profile to show.)
Edit June 4th:
The problem I described above has to do with my using the "Menu Bar" for all my buttons. "Get Selected Mails" seems to work properly in the "Toolbar", but not quite so properly in the "Menu Bar".
Edit June 10th:
After I mentioned the issue with the Menu Bar (the first GSM was designed to work only with the "Mail Toolbar"), the developer actually rewrote the GSM engine, and now GSM works perfectly even in the Menu Bar.
FINALLY!!!.. Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
...someone came up with a solution to Mozilla's irresponsible mess in the customize window. I never understood according to what "logic" the icons were arranged. A few seem to have been placed, temporarily, in chronological order, but then those also switched their order unexpectedly. If you had LOTS of icons (e.g. if you are using the "Toolbar Buttons" extension) it could take you minutes until you found your icon, and, admittedly, sometimes I just gave up, unnerved.
This add-on finds the icons already while typing in the search field. It also finds icons, if you type any letters of any part of the icon's name. I wonder whether an optional chronological arrangement of the icons would be possible, though I doubt it. Thousand thanks for this solution!
Simple but Useful! Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Always wanted to have an add-on like this! But it doesn't work too well together with the WheelClear add-on that I'm already using to EMPTY any search field with a mouse scroll. Would be great if this here could be made (perhaps optionally) to work only if the pointer hovers over the search engine SYMBOL, so if the pointer is over the white field only the WheelClear will work.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (0.0.5.1-signed).

I suggest using this together with the "Advanced Unread Folders" add-on. That one adds a very useful sorting function that can be used with this one.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (1.7).
Important feature Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Helps avoiding missing unnoticed unread emails. As long as there is no toggle shortcut and a toggle button to toggle quickly the add-on's "Unread (Advanced)"-command, this add-on is best used together with the "Folder Pane View Switcher" add-on. You get to the "Unread (Advanced)" view with just one click on the back arrow. ;-)
BTW, in my FF11 none of the options (either clicked or unclicked) stick after they are okayed.
I still miss an add-on that keeps indicating DIRECTLY on the TB interface if there is still some unread email in any folder (I use eight different accounts, and those that are collapsed don't betray at all if there is still an unread message in them).
Maybe some blinking sign or a blinking number (displaying the number of unread mails) in the status bar would help to draw attention to it that there are still unread emails somewhere. The number would stop blinking when there is no unread mail left.
To wrap or not to wrap? Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles
Cool tool! But, like some other reviewers, I'd prefer the picked setting either to stick and not revert to word wrap with every new composition window ...or have the no wrap as default. Or maybe there could be an option that allows to pick which setting (wrap or no wrap) should be the default setting.Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (1.8.1-signed).
For Thunderbird? Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
Very very useful add-on. Thanks to it one doesn't lose "screen estate" by adding yet more standard toolbars in FF.
It would even be more useful in Thunderbird, as in TB (unlike in FF) one can't use the status bar for placing buttons. Please do consider making this also work with TB! ;-)))
Indicator to tell if Email uses HTML? Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles
This is really nice. What's missing is some indicator whether an email uses HTML. That indicator could be a small symbol that appears in the header bar or in the status bar (e.g. together with the "Allow HTML" symbol), every time an email has an HTML part. Often it is not possible to tell whether an email uses HTML or not. I believe that's what also "Apedemak" meant in his comment below (from Jan 2010). (BTW, an old email client, "Foxmail", used such an indicator)
Edit May 14th:
Maybe, simply by not displaying this add-on's changing icon in the status bar, whenever a message is in plain text, would be enough to indicate that a message has no html part. I keep finding myself clicking on the html option in the status bar while some messages just don't have html.

Great tool! But I find ANY toolbar should ALWAYS have a toggle hotkey and a toggle button that can make the toolbar quickly appear and disappear. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement. Clicking one's way through "View > Toolbars" is just too awkward. At least, under "View", a toolbar should always have one of those underlined letters (in that case one could create a hotkey with some macro program). ;-)Cette critique est pour une version précédente du module (3.0.2).

Two stars for being honest about what's happening in the background.
