Great Add On, Developer works hard to keep up... Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Firefox keeps changing all the time, and this developer has been responsive to get fixes out to keep it working. It's a great, easy to use add on, and I can't understand why FF wouldn't have something similar as standard issue. There are plenty of little add ons that can say, help you search Google or Amazon via context menu/right click. This one helps you search anything (Google large images for example), and do it with the ease of adding it with one step. LOVE it.

TabRenamizer2

OK... Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

See updates: I'm not sure what has changed in this add-on vs the old one.

With the old one, my tabs were often reading "connecting..." when I hadn't set them to do that. I've been using version 2 for a couple of days now and it appears taken care of. Keeping fingers crossed, knocking wood.I like this add on for editing tabs to say what I want, not necessarily hiding things. There is not anything like it and I wish I had a similar add on on each browser. I wrote the new developer who is very responsive. We all thank the former developer, but long live the new one!! This is a top add on if working.

Update 1: Correction. The add-on still has the old problem. Tabs say "Connecting..." even when nothing has been set. If this could be fixed, the add on is five stars. It's an incredibly annoying bug that defeats the whole purpose. Chrome has one of these that works. Why can't FF?!

Update 2: This add-on is disabling the ability to MOVE a tab to a new window. Instead, I get a blank when tab "tearing" or using context menu to move it. I could still duplicate the tab to a new window but I don't use this as much. When I disabled the add- on the FF the tabs worked as expected. Look forward to these things being fixed.

All Tabs Helper

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This add-on along with Hugo are indispensable for anyone doing research on the web. ATH zero's in on what you want to find OR just get rid of (search by tab title or content). I find it especially useful when I have 10+tabs open and am done with my research. I can easily figure out which tabs need to be closed. It is also very helpful for rearranging tabs quickly. You get a list view, and can drag or drop them in a more useful order.

It has so much functionality, it's hard to list it here. The developer's a very nice guy too so if you see some functionality that might be useful, don't hesitate to let him know.

Walnut2 for Firefox

Awesome Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I tried to have a similar theme on all browsers and this is the best. The guy updates it constantly: fixing things, improving it. It really shows!

Hugo

The Best Power User Search Tool Ever Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This add on fills the void that exists for search.

You can search the web and pick out a speck of information, but when it comes to the page you're on, or the 10 tabs you have open, things have never been as complete until now. This app enables one to drill down on the page, on multiple pages, and with the context needed to decide whether to proceed and investigate further. There have been other tools like that do parts of what this app does but they've never been as fully developed or stuck around. This is one of the few apps that will increase productivity enough that I would actually pay for it, and that's saying a lot. I can't believe it's taken this long in the life of Firefox to achieve what it seems like page searching was meant to be.

All Tabs Helper

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This Add on is amazing. Why developers have not seized on this already is beyond me. Find All Tabs (All in Tabs??) was sorely missed by many, but this guy has taken it to the next level, and then up a notch. It's an 11 man.

Many websites review tweaks that make very incremental improvements if any. They should take this add on and plaster it on their homepage, for a week. If you do research, you need this.

Showcase

Brilliant, but with no groups support, I can't use it Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Panorama/Groups is limited visually, and this would be a nice enhancement. But, 50 tabs opening at once is harsh.

Toolbar Buttons

So far so good Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I have not experienced issues and am happy that I can finally toggle the Diigo toolbar (by either a button or a shortcut). Why that company has never answered users calls for this I don't know, but it's common with many toolbars. This thing is the answer to a multi-step process to see or hide a toolbar. Keep up the nice work!

Find In Tabs

Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

It gets tiring seeing so many developers let people get used to using their add ons, then letting them beg for an update. This thing doesn't work, so it sucks. When it worked, it was great. And 10 bucks? Dude, get a life.

Choosy OS-X Firefox Util

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Choosy is one of the best things to happen to my daily computer usage. I use firefox stuffed with add-ons as a "hub" and chrome, safari, opera etc as "spokes" that open fast. Some sites, like google, make you log in and log out to use the site with a different username. Why not just open another browser already logged into that other user? You can, with Choosy. Wish they had this on windows too!
