Greasemonkey par Anthony Lieuallen, Aaron Boodman, autres

Customize the way a web page displays or behaves, by using small bits of JavaScript.
Note du collectionneur An extremely powerful and useful extension that allows *users* to install scripts that change the appearance and behavior of (specific or general) web pages, for fun or to get around problems with the pages' code, style, etc.

Flashblock par Philip Chee

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 885 critiques

967 965 utilisateurs

Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on...
Note du collectionneur Helps some pages to load faster, since you don't have to wait for a bunch of Flash you're not interested in to load. Provides a whitelist for those sites where you want to see Flash.

User Agent Switcher par chrispederick

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 198 critiques

449 182 utilisateurs

The User Agent Switcher extension adds a menu and a toolbar button to switch the user agent of a browser.
Note du collectionneur Allows your browser to pretend to be another browser by sending a fake User-Agent string to web servers. Occasionally necessary for sites that, for whatever reason, don't like the sight of Firefox (or browsers that aren't "approved") but actually work okay (or if you're just desperate to get something out of them). Thankfully, the practice is getting quite rare these days (or maybe Firefox is just so much more popular).

Session Manager par Michael Kraft

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 443 critiques

267 451 utilisateurs

Enregistre et rétablit l'état de toutes les fenêtres.
Note du collectionneur Is restoring the last session after a crash not enough? Session Manager stores multiple sessions both automatically and by request and allows them to be loaded later; each session has its own set of windows and tabs. You can even maintain multiple sessions and switch between them (though I don't think they're updated automatically), which makes this extension almost a natural complement to multiple profiles. Profiles = virtual identities; sessions = browsing states.

Password Exporter par Justin Scott (fligtar)

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 274 critiques

188 826 utilisateurs

This extension allows you to export your saved passwords and disabled login hosts using XML or CSV files that can be imported later.
Note du collectionneur A useful way to copy your passwords from one profile to another, as an alternative to copying the database files. Also useful for backing up the database.

HttpFox par Martin Theimer

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 154 critiques

118 465 utilisateurs

An HTTP analyzer addon for Firefox
Note du collectionneur An occasionally useful extension for tracing the HTTP requests and responses that occur while loading a web page, etc.

Image Zoom par Jason Adams

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 310 critiques

208 556 utilisateurs

Adds zoom and rotation functionality for images...
Note du collectionneur A nice little utility for zooming and rotating images in the page. I originally used Optimoz's Mouse Gestures for the task, but this does a better job and is much more focused and lightweight.

Download Statusbar par C.J.

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 1 372 critiques

990 217 utilisateurs

View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar - without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing.

Thanks Tekzilla for your awesome review! Click here to see their video: http://youtu.be/BUDqWrJ-Vao
Note du collectionneur Much tidier and more compact than the download windows you get in Firefox normally.

Lazarus: Form Recovery par Seth Wagoner

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 300 critiques

53 731 utilisateurs

Never lose anything you type into a web form again! Lazarus securely auto-saves all forms as you type, so after a crash, server timeout, or whatever, you can go back to the form, right click, "recover form", and breathe a sigh of relief.
Note du collectionneur Incredibly indispensible. This is another of those add-ons whose functionality should be built-in to the browser. If you've been typing in a form and lose your place for whatever reason (server hiccup, browser crash, power outage), it's great to know you can get it all back with Lazarus. It's also occasionally handy for more ordinary situations like suddenly wanting to back up for a moment (something you missed on the previous page) before finishing the form.

Cookie Whitelist, With Buttons par Alexander Dietrich

Cookie whitelisting made easy, with buttons.
Note du collectionneur Helps both to see whether cookies are being accepted for a given site and to quickly add exceptions.

Neo Diggler par Neil Bird

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 19 critiques

1 094 utilisateurs

Neo Diggler is a small but powerful add-on for Firefox. It adds a customisable menu button next to the address bar with navigation and modification actions relevant to the current URL.
Note du collectionneur Has several useful features that save time: a button for quickly clearing the location--er, Awesome Bar, a list of ancestor paths of the current URL (can sometimes be used to quickly get to the main page of the site or section of the site for something you stumbled across), a link to a possible FTP site corresponding to a web site, links to search the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine and Google cache for the current URL, and a link to translate the current page through Google Translate.

Character Identifier par L. David Baron

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles 9 critiques

599 utilisateurs

This extension adds a context menu item for selected text that provides more information (from the Unicode database) about the characters...
Note du collectionneur Nice if you're curious about all kinds of Unicode characters like I am, or if you can't tell exactly what some characters are (for instance, depending on the font, uppercase 'I' might look like lowercase 'L', or lowercase 'L' might look like number '1', uppercase 'O' like number '0', etc.).
