Widgetify ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

• Local Storage by Default: Widgetify does not collect or store any personal data by default. All your widget layouts, custom configurations, notes, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device using browser Local Storage.
• No Tracking of Personal Content: We never track, inspect, or store your browsing history, personal search queries, or the contents of your notes and to-do lists.

Widgetify interacts with external services solely to deliver specific features:

• Website Favicons (Google Favicon Service): To display visual icons on your bookmark cards, website domain names are sent to Google's public favicon service (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons). No personal information or full URLs are transmitted. In Firefox, this feature is opt-in and can be enabled or disabled at any time.
• Anonymous Technical Analytics (Google Analytics): With user consent, we collect anonymous usage statistics and technical error logs to diagnose crashes and improve extension performance. These reports never contain personally identifying information, IP addresses, or browsing history. This can be toggled off at any time in General Settings.
• Live Widget Data (Widgetify API): Widgets displaying public information (such as weather conditions, currency exchange rates, and gold/crypto prices) fetch publicly available data from our secure API (https://api.widgetify.ir). No personal identifier is required or sent for these queries.
• Account Sync (Optional): Creating an account to sync settings across multiple devices is completely optional. If you choose to log in, we securely store your basic profile information (such as email) and synchronized workspace data.
• Google Calendar Integration (Optional): Connecting your Google account allows the calendar widget to read upcoming events. This connection uses secure OAuth 2.0 with read-only permissions. Calendar event data is processed locally in your browser and is never stored on our servers.

• You retain full ownership and control over your data.
• You can clear all locally stored settings and widgets at any time by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the extension.
• Registered users may request the deletion of their synced account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@widgetify.ir.
