- Noté 1 sur 5par Avalon of Babylon, il y a un an
- Noté 1 sur 5par Dav, il y a un anIt's stopped working completely. Makes no adjustments to volume and prevents any audio playing on several sites. Tried the permissions thing suggested in the latest change notes, but still won't work so I had to uninstall it.
EDIT: There is no visible means to reply directly. No sound on YouTube or Imgur. Only other plugins are Malwayre Bytes, Surfsharf VPN, LastPass and Gramerly.Réponse du développeur

This extension does break bing for me and i found that out after enabling half of my extensions each time and narrowing down from there until i landed on this extension that was breaking bing
so i have to disable it when i want to use bingRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un anAre you using the all_urls permission?
I haven't had issues with the permission given or not but the only real troubleshooting is that as this manipulates elements within webpages (audio/video) and some sites tell Firefox "you're not allowed to".
If all URLs is set on some sites they won't load audio elements at all because of those annoying security policies
On other sites with relaxed security policies the extension will only be able to manipulate audio with all_urls permission because the video is an iframe loaded from a seperate site - Noté 2 sur 5par DonVergo, il y a un anNot working on the website I planned to use it for. Apparently it does work on YouTube but the audio there is mostly fine.

If you read the description, assigning permission to allow all urls in the permission options allows it to work on more sites.
Help me, help you, why just leave a negative review? It's open source and I do this as a hobby (I get nothing from it) and have spent countless hours working on it, so it's painful to see a negative review with no way of remedying it. - Noté 3 sur 5par Alexandra, il y a un anOverall the extension is really great, however it would be great if there were the ability to disable it for specific websites or for the extension to actually do nothing at +0 dB,
I am saying this, because currently there seems to be a bug with this extension that if you have it, and it has the permission "Access your data for all websites", videos in the online discord app do not make any sound.
I did check and without the extension or the permission that issue does not occur, however if i don't give the permission the teal dot of the extension requesting it is really annoying, so i think for now i will either remove it or simply disable it until and unless the issue gets resolved
(EDIT)
More specifically, video files in discord(at least ones with the .mov extension) don't make any sound, however everything else on discord still makes the sound with the extension activeRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un anThat's why such things are optional...
I have tried on discord, without issue, both with the extension enabled w/ optional permissions and without.
Alternatively to setting in the optional permissions, I think you can toggle it on a per site basis, by right clicking the extension and clicking "always on on *.com"
Sadly there's no method to quickly toggle the permissions on FF, I tried looking into setting a hotkey to enable/disable the extension but it wasn't working...
The default behavior is to only operate on click (when you click the extension, otherwise it shouldn't be running) - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18304154 de Firefox, il y a un an
- Noté 3 sur 5par TimJ, il y a un anWhen it's working, it does the job perfectly. However, it broke audio in some context. For example, I was listening to a podcast and if I try to listen to it from the website there's no sound, but if I access the file directly it works. But I really like the simplicity of the UI, it's exactly what I needed.

mis en ligne : il y a un anHi, what podcast/site are you trying? Have you tried giving the extension the extra permissions? "Important: To add functionality to more websites, the permission "all_urls" was necessary, however with the recent update to manifest v3, it's optional. If the extension can't access audio on a certain site do the following: Right click the extension, click "manage extension", click the permission tab, allow "Access your data for all websites". This is a necessary permission to access iframes. The extension is open source and fully adheres to this repository. There's no form of analytics in this extension. So don't be afraid of the permissions." - Noté 3 sur 5par Tim, il y a un anI'd like a feature to add a combination of "site domain+volume setting" to the addon.
So it automatically adjusts the volume down if I open this domain/any site on it. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14198120 de Firefox, il y a un an

- Noté 5 sur 5par NiyaShy, il y a un anWorks as described. I'll never understand why certain sites (like Bandcamp or Patreon) don't have an on-site volume slider for their music widgets and instead just blast you at full volume... Being able to adjust the volume down per site/tab is just perfect and way better than having to temporarily turn down the volume for the whole browser instance. The FOSS nature and minimal permissions are the cherry on top that make this a perfect choice :)

mis en ligne : il y a un anPlease leave further context, such as what websites you're experiencing issues on. Hope to hear from you, hopefully we can resolve your issues. - Noté 5 sur 5par Becoming, il y a un anGet this extension! It is excellent! Here is why:
- works perfectly
- open source
- streamlined
- contains extensive documentation
- minimal permissions required to function
- the developer is very active (see other review for his/her responses and fixes)
There are many extensions that provide volume boosting functionality. The ones I have tried are completely untrustworthy. The main issues I have are things like: ad injection, NOT open source, pure copycats of other extensions, and so forth. - Noté 5 sur 5par Gabriel, il y a un anPretty much the best Volume Controller in Firefox that I've found while also being pretty lightweight and straightforward.

mis en ligne : il y a un anHey! It in fact does work on this site.
Please look at the notice on the extension page.
You have to go to the add-ons manager about:addons in the URL bar, and manage volume control. Give it permission to "Access your data for all websites".
This site plays audio from an external page, so in order to access the iframe element the mutation observer in arrive.min.js needs api permission to view all site data.
Sorry for the delayed response, hope this works for you. - Noté 5 sur 5par aloola, il y a 2 ans
- Noté 5 sur 5par NBPE1997, il y a 2 ansThe sound on Netflix is far too quiet; I guess they want your volume up as much as possible because they like to have sound that's both very loud and very quiet? Probably fine with headphones or a good sound system, but the maximum volume on my gaming laptop was not enough for me to be able to hear well (And I'm 25!)
This extension works perfectly! Thank you to the author! - Noté 5 sur 5par fam, il y a 2 ans
- Noté 3 sur 5par king kong, il y a 2 ansU have to add feature all tabs volume same. When ever i reload my tab volume booster gets reseted everytime
its annoying to increase vol again/Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 2 ansIts important to have the volume reset, so you don't get blasted with super over amplified volume. Since most websites don't normalize volume, it's a big risk to save this setting.
It also requires me to request more API access from Mozilla. As that functionality would require "local data access" for the extension to remember your settings. Requiring more permissions, generally makes users more anxious about the extension and adds further scrutiny from Mozilla admins.
So I hope you can understand, why I haven't include this functionality...
Please amend your review to a higher rating, create an issue on the github repository, and I will make a release for you in the next month with this functionality.
