Usage Overlay for Codex shows the Codex usage limits of your ChatGPT plan: the 5-hour limit and the weekly limit, plus model-specific limits and your credits balance when your account has them.

FEATURES
• Toolbar badge with your highest current percentage, turning amber at 70 % and red at 90 %.
• Popup listing every limit with a progress bar and the time until it resets.
• Floating overlay on chatgpt.com, including chatgpt.com/codex:
– with or without a background (transparent mode)
– minimized to a single percentage, or hidden completely
– placed in any corner of the page
• Refresh interval from 1 to 30 minutes (default 5), plus refresh on demand.
• Follows your light or dark theme.
• English and Swedish interface.

HOW IT WORKS
The extension reads your Codex usage from chatgpt.com, using your existing ChatGPT login in this browser. You need to be signed in to chatgpt.com in the same Chrome profile.

PRIVACY
• No data is sent anywhere except the requests to chatgpt.com that read your usage.
• Your session's access token is used only for that request to chatgpt.com. It is never stored, logged or shown.
• No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party servers.
• The latest usage figures and your settings are stored only locally in your browser.
• The extension does not read your conversations, prompts or code.

PERMISSIONS
• Access to chatgpt.com: read your usage limits and show the overlay on chatgpt.com.
• Storage: remember the latest usage figures and your settings.
• Alarms: refresh the figures on a schedule.

• Unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. ChatGPT and Codex are products of OpenAI.
• chatgpt.com's usage API is internal and undocumented. If it changes, the extension may stop showing data until it is updated.
• Only your default ChatGPT account or workspace is shown.
• Codex billed through an API key (OpenAI Platform) is not covered.
