Toolyard is a quick way to find and open the free tools on webtoolyard.com. Search from the toolbar or the address bar and the tool you need opens in a new tab.

HOW IT WORKS

• Click the Toolyard icon and start typing what you want to do, for example "heic to jpg" or "merge pdf". Matching tools and guides appear as you type; click one to open it.

• Or type "ty" in the address bar, press Space, then describe the task and press Enter.

• The extension follows your browser's language and works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese and Korean.

WHAT THE TOOLS COVER

Toolyard has more than 200 free tools for everyday tasks: combining and shrinking PDF files, converting iPhone photos, making images smaller for upload forms, pulling the sound out of a video, everyday money and home calculators, unit conversion, word counting, and a few fun tests such as typing speed and reaction time.

The tools run in your browser, so the files you open stay on your own computer and are not uploaded. There is no account to create and nothing to install beyond this extension.
