I thought Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) update to Mac Firefox ESR 52.5.0 (64 bit) had killed the button...but it turned out that I needed to disable, then re-enable (actually I re-installed) the extension, then quit Firefox and relaunch it. Then the button reappeared and now it works fine.
That's a bit of work to keep this working, and I only discovered it by accident. Perhaps this will help someone else for whom it also stopped working.
Another, minor issue: In my version of Firefox, CTR and custom userchrome.css etc. still doesn't let me affect the size of the buttons in the bottom toolbar. Most of them are (barely) big enough, but this button is really tiny. I can use it because it's green vs. red, but I suppose someone with poor color vision might have a real problem. It would be nice if the button were about twice the size it is; then it would match most of my other toolbar buttons in size.
Very good. Its doing what its supposed to do. In contrary to the last post I find that the tool is still working with my current actual firefox version of 56.0.2 (64bit). Thank you.
As of November 2017, this won't work in Firefox because it's using the legacy addon format.
I'll change this review if the plugin gets a rewrite.
I give 5 stars to encourage the developer to keep up good work on this.
This is exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately the behaviour is shared across all open tabs.
I hope in future if I press the button to disable, it will be disabled only in the current tab, not globally.
... 4 out of 5 because it has no WHITELIST feature. I have it disabled all the time (JS), but on youtube you have to re-enable it constantly else you cant watch any YT clips. Then disable it again after watching enough YT a day ...
Maybe have it automatically re-enable it while on Youtube.com and once someone leaves YT, let it automatically disable JS again or after opening a different website.
Why Mozilla felt the need to remove this option I don't know. Thankfully dillbyrne had the sense to make this addon. Thank you
The symbol/icon of this add-on is way to big and alters the bar/tab hight! Please fix that.
Please Open an Issue on github with the details and steps to reproduce this and I will try to have a fix soon after. I currently am not seeing this.
This add on is the reason why I use Firefox and not Chrome, Yandex or IE.
Simple and it works.
Thanks for your review
This is really a great simple addon that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Thank you for taking the time to make it!
One feature I wish it had and hopefully you'll consider adding it in the future: option to disable on startup.
A huge thank you to the developer. This add-on helped me big deal.
It works well and its easy to use. Thanks a lot for a great addon
It does what it says and does it well
You, on the other hand, kept your wits about you and did something to remedy the situation--and with excellent results, too.
Thank you for eliminating having to go into about:config every time I visit an unfamiliar Web site.
It's a neat and sweet little item to have on one's browser.
Actually, it's much more convenient that going into Tools > Options > Content.
Thank you VERY much!
I used that functionality too often that I had to do something about it. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review
I got locked into some bogus webpages that wouldn't let me close them out. I was able to install this and defeat the Stack Overflow without restarting.
Hey Pontiac. I'm glad it helps you.
Thank you for review. Glad it is useful
Удобно. Включил - Выключил.
