Why did you remove Aero Glass support? =O

Edit: The addon worked better and more smoothly before the Glass removal for me. Now it takes longer for the previews to change size when I right click them and the resizing animation is jerkier, and it's slower to change position and switch image when I move the mouse to another tab as well. Plus, when it used the glass effect, it blended better with the browser's look and wasn't such an eyesore.

Because the incompatibility with fade-in fade-out effect.
Could you describe the merit of Aero Glass?

Best for quickly browsing through multiple tabs.
Control a tab without ever switching to it.
A full list of settings to allow you to customize Tab Scope to better meet your needs.

To be honest, I would prefer having an option in the advanced option to activate or deactivate it.
That way, it would satisfy both win7 & win8 users.

A small but frustrating bug - when you click Bookmarks (true for other buttons which are placed above tabs) in menu, if you won't instantly move mouse away, Tab Scope will start generating preview for the tab, and when preview appears, FF window will be put on top, though the Library window will still be considered focused by Windows (ie. alt-tabing will select a different window, not Library). Setting delay does not prevent that from happening.

This extension works reasonably well, though it could work better with unloaded tabs. By default, Firefox doesn't load background tabs when a session is opened, and only loads them when you click the tab, which can be good performance-wise if you keep a lot of tabs open. With this extension's default settings, it forces these tabs to load as soon as they're moused-over, in order to generate a preview, which kind of defeats the purpose of having them remain unloaded to begin with. Move the mouse across the tab bar to go from one tab to another, and you suddenly have a bunch of tabs loading between the two.

The extension does provide an option to not autoload these tabs, but this makes it much less useful. Instead of a preview, you're presented with a blank white square for unloaded tabs, which is not particularly useful when hunting for a tab in a large session.

It would be nice if the extension provided the option to use cached thumbnails of these pages. Firefox actually does store such thumbnails in PNG format for its tab grouping feature, though I don't know if they're accessible to extensions. If they are, that would likely be a good way to handle it. Even if they aren't, it seems like the extension might be able to manage its own cache of tab thumbnails.

At the very least, I'd like to see an option to add a delay between previewing tabs. Currently, you can select a delay to wait before showing the first preview, but after that, adjacent tabs are previewed as soon as your mouse moves over them, until the preview popup is closed, resetting the timer. If the timer could be reset when moving from tab to tab, a preview would only appear once you stop the mouse pointer over one, avoiding the issue of loading all tabs in between.

Well-maintained, easy to use, does it's work perfectly without conflicting with anything. Wish it would be built-in feature.

Ongoing changes will probably break Tab Scope Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I do not see another way to get in contact with you, so let me write this just for your information: Tab Scope is one of the add ons probably affected by changes for the Session Restore: “Add-on breakage warning: Session Restore is changing” – http://dutherenverseauborddelatable.wordpress.com/2013/05/21/add-on-breakage-warning-session-restore-is-changing/ And in “Add-on breakage, continued: List of add-ons that will probably be affected” – http://dutherenverseauborddelatable.wordpress.com/2013/05/23/add-on-breakage-continued-list-of-add-ons-that-will-probably-be-affected/ you can read: “We are progressively getting rid of all fields whose name starts with __SS. These add-ons are the add-ons that depend on such fields.”

very nice - but, the unloaded tabs...why do not show the name (or the URL) of the unloaded Tabs?

(Unload tabs: at the settings from TAB SCOPE I can say to load unloaded tabs to show them at popup.
Starting FIREFOX with many tabs, only the open tab will be load. The other tabs are load only if I go to them. While the tabs do not was load, the popup from TAB SCOPE remain absolutely empty (unless load tabs to show popup is set).
It will be usefull to show the URL or full Name of tab in the Popup always, if the tab was not opened and loaded too.)

Window focus issue Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Tab Scope 1.1.8 doesn't work properly under Linux Mint 13 64 Bit (recent kernel: 3.2.0-39) with FF 19.0.2: Each time TabScope is triggered the focus of FF gets lost. You have to refocus FF first before you can trigger TabScope again. This issue appeared first with the recent version. It din't appear with the previous version! NB. This behaviour does not show up when running FF under Windows (Win 7 64 Bit in my case)

PLEASE FIX Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Echoing the other review, if you have multiple tabs open, you now have to CLICK the tab TWICE to focus on the selected tab.

PLEASE FIX AS THIS WASN'T LIKE THIS BEFORE.

i very much like the idea here and you have a good amount 'customization' via the Preferences, but i am slowed down by having to click twice a tab to activate it. once to remove focus from Tab Scope and again to activate the 'other' tab.
fix that and this would be Very Useful to me and my 200 plus tabs : )
Thanks,
Landis.
ps. i was using with Tree Style Tab and Informational Tab...

Great, but spotted little bug! Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Great addon, but I found little "bug":
I have two screens. Firefox is in 2nd screen. When I now hover tab, popup is showing in corner of 1st screen.
