  • The problem is only one single number.

    Go to /home/[username]/.mozilla/firefox/[profile]/extensions/
There are folders containing the data of the plugins. The folder of strata for human contains the install.rdf. Open it in a text editor and replace the expire date with something in the future:
    em:minVersion 3.0b5 /em:minVersion
    em:maxVersion 3.7 /em:maxVersion

  • very cool theme but, when the version for firefox 3.5 come?
  • Great theme! but it needs to be more compatible with ubuntu's Dust theme eg. the menu bar is supposed to be black like the window boarder or change the color of the menu because you can hardly read it

  • Génial! Il s'adapte parfaitement à Ubuntu!
  • Could you remove the two horizontal bars in top and bottom of the icons?
It doesn't look good if you have personas activated.
  • Yes, Please, please, please fix the new tab button!
It's becoming annoying! Can anyone provide a fix?
  • This should definitely be the default theme in for Firefox in Ubuntu.

An updated version would be nice though ;)
  • Please fix the new tab button
  • Please update for Firefox 3.5.
  • nice idea
  • This is awesome. I like the xp and vista buttons. Thanks for making one to match Ubuntu.
  • This is the perfect theme for Ubuntu. It should be the default one.
  • Strata is one of the best looking themes for Firefox. This theme blends very well with Gnome's Human.
  • I am getting double combo-box arrows on (possibly all) XUL windows.
HTML combos do not exhibit this bug.

Bug is not in the theme, but FF itself:

(5 stars since bug is not in the theme)
  • I love this! I wish this were the default theme in ubuntu. Not only is this a massive improvement over the spectacularly ugly default "tango" theme, but it even blends better with the darklooks theme. Tango has white specs surrounding all the icons, but this them fades smooth as silk.
  • Excelente, da la sensacion de integracion con el SO que el mismo firefox 3 no da. Gran trabajo. sigue asi :D
  • Looks great. Thanks
  • sei un grande funziona alla grande w ubuntu
  • I think you should use some icons from the tango/human theme.
Leave the previous/next page buttons with the strata style, but use the rest of the icons with the human icon. So it'd give more a human feel.
  • Very deft and slick! I echo the other poster's call for this to be the default Ubuntu Firefox theme. For reasons I do not quite understand, The Linux "look" often comes off coarser than MacOS-X or WinVista. The only reason that makes sense to me is that I still know "linux geeks" who think GUIs are for pussies; they just don't think appearance is important. These aforementioned geeks don't want Linux to become too mainstream. But I think slick appearance is crucial to making Linux in general and Ubuntu in particular, a true alternative for those who are fed up with Microsoft but don't want to drink the Steve Jobs Koolaid either.

The only thing I would add is a slick new throbber. This is one area where Firefox has simply dropped the ball. Doesn't anyone do animated GIFs any more?

That one frustration aside, great work on a simple, but sophisticated and refined theme for Firefox/Ubuntu.
