par jep, il y a 4 ans"Simple Tab Groups" has been an absolute game changer for my workflow. It is a very well thought-out extension that has allowed me to compartmentalize my work activities greatly. I normally have multiple windows open, separated by activity. In fact, I usually have upwards of 6 windows, with each averaging upwards of 20 tabs, for everything from different Jupyter Python projects to researching different topics to general web browsing. It was a nightmare keeping track of which was which, I lived in constant fear of losing papers or web resources I had found or of simply losing the structure I had in those windows, and the associated RAM usage would periodically slow my machines to a crawl. "Simple Tab Groups" has completely solved these issues.
ORGANIZATION: Simple Tab Groups allows you to name groups and, with the setting enabled, display their names in the window title. I can much more easily manage multiple windows by using these two features.
HISTORIES / ORGANIZATION: Tab groups are stored, with customizable backups created daily by default, so that I can quit Firefox or restart my machine and simply reopen the tab group with the tab structure I'd previously tailored. .
MEMORY: When RAM usage becomes an issue, I can simply close groups with the secure knowledge that I can easily reopen those groups when I need them again. There is also a specific option to save RAM when tabs are hidden, but I haven't found it necessary to use this option. Many of the groups I create are only needed once a week or less. I can now simply keep those windows closed until I come back around to that project, so that my RAM usage now generally stays low.
Finally, this extension also works well with Firefox's "Multi-Account Containers" extension. I have used both together for weeks with zero conflicts on either a Mac or Ubuntu 18. My only concern with this extension is that I am becoming highly reliant on it, and if Drive4ik ceases developing and supporting it, I would be hard-pressed to find a combination of trustworthy (i.e., Mozilla-recommended) tools that work as well as this one extension does. Thank you for your excellent work, Drive4ik! Would love to support you monetarily as well.

- Noté 5 sur 5par P., il y a 15 joursMost useful addon/extention in the store!
IT IS A MUST HAVE & SHOULD BE NATIVELY INTEGRATED IN ALL BROWSERS!!!
However i have some recommendations:
1. More settings for customizing the manage groups view.
1.1 Fold/Unfold a specific group or a pair of groups (fold custom topic 1 only) the folded group now only shows custom number of entries [i have too many groups they dont fit onto my screen at once, even with my 1,20 meter wide monitor+second monitor setup lol]
1.2 Highlight tabs that are currently loaded (text color+backround should be both customizable to avoid people in dark mode or with dimmed screens seeing the difference) - Noté 2 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16707185 de Firefox, il y a 18 joursWhen it works it's awesome, one of the most useful extensions. But when it doesn't work, it just destroys everything. I had over 200 tabs across 15 or so groups. I opened firefox today and all the tabs are gone. The groups are there but they are empty... and this isn't the first time this has happened. So if you want to organize your tabs you can use it, but at some point it's just going to break and you will waste a lot of time opening tabs again.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Skippy, il y a 19 joursVery useful extension for organizing my (many) tabs. I did find that the 'load x group' hotkey options such as 'load next group' were broken; I would like to see that fixed.

You can use it in a sidebar thanks to the "Show sidebars" button that you can add from Firefox customization. That gives you not only tab groups but also vertical tabs that have become something essential to me no matter the browser I use.
I normally create and delete groups dynamically without skimping. Every time I start doing something I create a group just for that (even if at the end it only required one tab) and delete the group afterwards. - Noté 5 sur 5par Slate, il y a un moisVery intuitive UI, supports color codes and regular expressions! Feels awesome!

- Noté 5 sur 5par Nimja, il y a un moisUnfortunately Firefox doesn't have a very good Profile Manager, the onboard one is very primitive.
I tried this instead, and it works well. I have different subject areas arranged in different Tab Groups. It is easy to stay organised, and switch between subject areas.
Works really well for keeping your Tabs organised.
Has a built-in backup tool which I regulalrly use! - Noté 5 sur 5par Freyir, il y a un mois
