Root Survey is a compact cosmic-horror gardening game for the Firefox toolbar. Tend one specimen in a field notebook rendered as a live soil cross-section. Each action advances one day: water for rapid growth at the cost of deeper roots, use light for slower growth, prune to pull the root back, or listen to the ground before it pushes upward. Read the growth, moisture, and depth indicators, make a plan, and harvest at eight growth before the root touches 100 metres. A short run can be won or lost; New Seed begins again. Progress is saved on this device when the popup closes, and the game does not advance in the background. The interface and rules are entirely in English. No account, external service, advertising, or network access is required.
