The Dev tried to push a little e-beg window into his app which caused a lot of negative reviews. The Dev lost their mind and started replying and arguing with EVERYONE in the comments who was upset with the change and left a comment about his extension.

The Dev messed up big time in how he implemented this ad and how he is responding to the negative feedback. I removed the extension because the Dev appears to be really unstable and not untrustworthy. He even responded to this comment below blaming everyone else but himself. If he has this much of an ego I would be afraid of what he might do and don't want him to have access to anything on my machine.

I was arguing with people who can't read - like geniuses who decided that the extension is paid now. (i.e. missed the point that all the features that existed before - are still free, and only the new, advanced features are paid, and used to cover the cost of running a free service for 20 million users.

Works great! My only criticism is that the way it works should be stated more openly. "Returns the ability to see dislikes" doesn't disclose that they're using a custom database for dislikes that extrapolates the number of dislikes a video "probably" has, based on the ratio of people who use the extension who like or dislike videos. This info can be found on their site's FAQ, but I don't think something so important about the core functionality of the extension should be so hidden, in a place only 0.1% of people will think to look. If it weren't for that small detail, I would rate this 5 stars. The extension has a lot of nice QoL features, like bar color customization, and different number formats.

annoying - it opens a popup after installation without the user clicking on anything and without the user requesting to view any page.

This extensions is good, but it is not updated right now. I hope it will be updated soon.

Nice extension that I use already few years. The only problem is that after last change of Utube style - it affects "playback speed" functionality - it does not show all options. Exists a workaround - to refresh the page - but it is annoying. Could you fix it?
