- Noté 1 sur 5par lohroc, il y a 7 heuresScammer devs have updated the extension asking all sort of malicious permissions for an extension that all it does is enable dislikes to be show on YouTube videos.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Emmy413, il y a 12 heuresReally loved this extension, was a little wary at all the new permissions the new update required, and now the premium pop-up is the nail in the coffin. Removing it unfortunately. Not what I installed it for.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18009415 de Firefox, il y a 13 heuresIt seems like dev get greedy, he got nice patreon income now trying to make our money from our data.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Radnyx, il y a 13 heuresUsed to be great and still is, but it had an update that started requiring too much personal information for just an extension that's supposed to bring back dislikes. Big thumbs down.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Nazriel, il y a 17 heuresNot too much to say outside of; It works. It delivers its premise.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Paranoid Eyes, il y a un jourRequires too much personal data these days, so I'm out.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Noyb, il y a 2 joursIt used to be a good extension, but now the new update requires personally identifying information, browsing activity, website activity and website content.
I can simply not accept the update, but for others who want to install the extension for the first time I cannot recommend it, as the trade-off is not worth it, in my opinion. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 20225032 de Firefox, il y a 2 joursNeeds to many permissions after latest update

RYD hasn’t changed how it handles your data. What changed is how Mozilla labels these permissions - not what the extension does with your data.
Here’s the same problem discussed by Ajay, the author of SponsorBlock and DeArrow:
https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/the-new-data-transmission-permissions-seem-to-be-misleading-to-users/149410
The extension only uses the data it needs to show dislikes and count votes.
Its site permissions cover YouTube and its own API at returnyoutubedislikeapi.com. RYD doesn’t read other websites, and these site permissions cannot be used to access them.
Here’s what those permissions mean:
Personally identifiable information - RYD’s randomly generated, anonymous user ID, used to count votes. This isn’t your Google or YouTube account.
Browsing activity - opening the next YouTube video, so the extension can send its video ID and fetch the new dislike count.
Website content - things like the visible like count, which helps calculate dislike estimates.
Website activity - clicking Like or Dislike.
Again, this is about YouTube activity. The extension isn’t watching everything you do across the internet - it simply can’t do that with these site permissions.
The new labels sound scary, but they don’t give the extension access to more websites.
RYD is open source, so you can see how it works: https://github.com/Anarios/return-youtube-dislike- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14551672 de Firefox, il y a 4 jourskinda worked for a while, full of bloat and who knows what else now. not very reliable and gets sketchier each update. no thanks.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 20216950 de Firefox, il y a 5 joursNewest update now "needs" permissions to collect data: personally identifying information, browsing activity, website content and website activity. No thanks
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18723728 de Firefox, il y a 6 joursUninstalled after new permissions were added. Why on earth would this addon need access to browser history or PII?

- Noté 1 sur 5par sonicbigboom, il y a 8 joursShould be a great extension, but guess we need "premium" features now. Are you kidding me? All this is supposed to do is simulate a fucking dislike bar and button.
You know, I didn't feel the need to mention this before, but this extension also doesn't allow you to see dislikes for videos where the user "disabled" dislikes? Again, are you kidding me? The dislikes are not handled by Youtube, it is by the user base of this extension. Who cares what the creator enabled/disabled! - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17515365 de Firefox, il y a 8 jourswill this ever work in private windows again?
