The extension requests only activeTab and storage, injects code only on demand, and stores your color preference locally. There are no analytics, no remote requests, and no background CPU drain because the background page is non-persistent. It follows AMOâs security rules by avoiding inline scripts and remote code. Choose your highlight color from the Options page and clear highlights whenever you like.
