Your addon only avaliable in one window, that is, I cannot use this addon when I open a web page with new window.
Great addons! I think it will be more convenient if the user can copy the image to clipboard by right-clicking on the image .
Thank you. I'll make sure this goes into the next version.
One minor problem. I would like to right-click on a selection, and then without releasing, drag the mouse down to the 'convert selection to QR code' menu item, then release the button. This doesn't generate a QR code. (Instead, I can right-click, release the button, then select the menu item with the left button.)
I note that other addons (Firebug) allows the behaviour I describe. Note that I also have Right Links 0.3.8 installed.
I don't think H error correct level is necessary for LCD and phone camera. Use L just working fine.
Very useful plugin. Works with both in-page links and the location bar.
Is just what need:
Select the text and then you are one right click away from the QR code.
Works perfectly! I absolutely like the icon in the adress bar - it's aweseome.
Arbeitet perfekt! Ich mag besonders das Icon in der Adresszeile - ist großartig!
Ein Meilenstein in der Addon Geschichte! Eines der besten "sinnvollen" Addons
Now that it also has the option to save the generated image, this addon is perfect! Thank you very much.
Most other developers are redirecting all to their servers. None, except mrfyda made it possible, to encode QR-Codes on the host-system only. Light, updateable without restart, etc. Flawless! Where is your damn Paypal-button :D? I have to donate some Euros.
Please add a link to the displayed image. When the user double-clicks on the image it would be loaded as a page. From there, the user can right-click and "save image as".
Added in 0.7.3
cannot recognize english url
Appreciates for your taking my advise, 0.7.2 is now works fine in english/other languages.
With the improvements in 0.7, this is now far and away my favorite QR code generator. Thanks!
Very symple and nice.
But how can I save this image?
Right now you can't.
I'm already working on a way to save the generated qrcode.
In the meantime you can take a screenshot.
this add-on works great, but i wanted to take a screenshot of a QRcode and it was impossible to retain it on the screen. If this could be included as a feature, it'd be great.
the but is only for the feature request. the app is really awesome in itself!
thanks to the dev.
Exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly. AND it's restartless!
Awesome app, thank you so much! I hope the next version will be able to encode URLs from the awesome bar ;-)
Remove this http://cl.ly/143e473j2x1y0y2q3Z0J dark gray border please, my app can't read code.
App can read code only if I change border to white in photoshop http://cl.ly/2y2W2R1Q3t2b2D1l1w1U
Fixed in 0.7
This is great. I've been searching for this addon. Very simple and basic addon which does it's job. thanks.
Simple and clean! Very nice!
My only real complaint has been addressed so no there's no reason to use anything else.
The extension is simple but functional. Just right-click on a link or a text selection, choose to convert the link or selection into a QR code and the code immediately appears on your screen.
- simple and intuitive handling
- uses a high error correction level (H)
- does not generate redirect links and does not encode any other information except the selected link/text
- does not request any service for generating the QR code (tested via wireshark) => keeps privacy of the user
- QR code cannot be generated for URLs located in the address field
- no cons anymore in new version :-)
"QR code cannot be generated for URLs located in the address field" - Now you (finally!) can ;)
