Advertising 'key shortcuts' is a bit disingenuous as these only work when the plex pace menu is already open, which requires leaving fullscreen if the video is being watched in fullscreen and clicking on the plex pace icon. This is a useless implementation of 'key shortcuts' as a mouse is also needed.
The only thing I can add as a humble request is the option to have a persistent default speed across all plex videos. I seem to remember somewhere saying that was implemented already, but it simply doesn't work. Any time a new video is opened, or a new video quality is chosen, the plex pace reverts to 1x speed. Adding this feature would drastically reduce the need for valid key shortcuts.
Otherwise, I really do like this extension.
