Entering the master password is very inconvenient and not very secure in public places. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17733932 de Firefox, il y a un an
- Noté 5 sur 5par Michiel, il y a un anI was a bit skeptical at first seeing the reviews and tried if for 6 months, but in the past months it has become significantly better (including 2fa) and the support for Linux is also great. And having a lifetime license is awesome. It's now one of my favorite password managers.
One thing would be extremely nice to have and that is the possibility to categorize items in folders (and even subfolders), or different vaults - the tags just don't cut it. And obviously support for different kind of items next to notes such as licenses, server logins, email addresses, etc. - Noté 1 sur 5par KBpgh5001, il y a un anIt's ashame that the product is so BAD, because pcloud storage is so GOOD! I helped beta test this password manager then purchased it for 6 months. WAY TOO SLOW ENCRYPTION and it LOCKS UP YOUR CPU AND BROWSER for 8+ minutes. Stay Away! :(
- Noté 5 sur 5par ark, il y a un anI purchased a lifetime plan and I don´t regret it until now. Having passwords and cards synced across the devices is quite a practical stuff and, as it seems secure enough solution. Yes painfully slow decryption, but the last only near the very first login. Ironically it does not work on Firefox login page and also still overlaps with Firefox existing password suggestions. Like they say, still in development and until now, thinks are getting only better...
- Noté 1 sur 5par fandox, il y a un anUtterly slow decryption and what’s even worse is that meanwhile it freezes the whole Firefox

- Noté 5 sur 5par DevoluXn, il y a un anI'm giving 5 stars, simply because pCloud supports the Linux community with their products (woo pCloud drive!).
It takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds to decrypt my passwords after a fresh PC boot, which I'm fine with since I have hundreds of account/password combinations stored. It seems like the decryption process hangs sometimes when initiated from the password field of an unrelated website. To get around this I click the purple P icon in Firefox's toolbar, and then sign in through the website before trying to use the add-on to login to other services.
Aside from that hiccup, my only other bother is that sometimes this extension doesn't detect the password field on a website, so I need to go to the pCloud Pass website to copy the password. This seems to occur when the website prompts you for username & password at different intervals, perhaps with a MFA prompt in between username and password prompts.
The two minor bothers aside, this is a great service, and I will continue to support it in hopes that we all can see it improve. Here's to companies that bother to respect their customer's privacy in an age of endless public tracking & profiling! - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17913242 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansPainfully slow decryption to unlock your vault, which also freezes all other windows on firefox, does not work properly on many websites, bugs, and overall pretty disappointing.. The only positive thing I can mention is the friendly customer service. Update: allowing only one active device and only ONE change of active device per month in the free version makes it completely useless. I greatly regret giving this password manager a chance, costed me so much frustration and time..

- Noté 2 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17693812 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansSerious flaw with this in Firefox when trying to access the Bank Of Ireland 365 online site. The logos that attempt to fill the form, for which there is no entry, completely block the log in. I am going to have to remove the extension to access my bank account as there seems to be no way to block it for that site. Not goog.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Anonymous, il y a 2 ansThe free plan is limited to 1 device only, which makes it worthless.
Edit: I stand by what I said. Being limited to 1 device only makes it worthless. Changing the active device means nothing. An average person would typically have at least 3 devices (home, work, and phone).Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 2 ansThank you for reaching out! Indeed, you can take advantage of pCloud Pass on one active device, if you're using the free version of the app. However, you can change this active device for free every 30 days. You can also take advantage of our free trial, which allows you to use pCloud Pass on as many devices as you like. - Noté 1 sur 5par SirRoberBurns, il y a 2 ansThis extension needs to be redesigned.
The way it is currently working makes it rather worthless, particularly if you have better free options which are not only more sophisticated but offer way more features.
Here are some of my observations:
1.
The auto-fill functionality does not work on all websites. I know this is not an issue unique to pCloud Pass. The REAL problem is that, once you're on a website where the autofill does not work you are forced to click on the extension. Now, instead of seeing a drop-down menu in which you can simply copy your username/password, the extension opens and redirects you to a new page. This is significantly counterintuitive and unpractical because now you must manually search the account credentials and then move to the website where you need to paste the credentials. To give you an example of this, just try to login in Firefox using pColud.
2.
When you import passwords from other password managers the name of the account is being replaced by data in the URL.
3.
pCloud (neither the free nor the paid version) allow you to enable 2FA on your accounts because it is not able to generate TOTP. You are therefore obliged to have a third-party authenticator app to generate the codes. This is ridiculous considering that virtually every single well known password managers is capable to store the TOTP seed and generate codes.Réponse du développeur
