good idea, but... Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Somehow, it lost a whole folder of search engines, and I don't seem to be able to get them back.

Same probleb with FF&TB_Rock! Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

Blank "OK Cancel" window with unsigned checkbox when i'm trying to add a new search plugin. Disable this add-on solves the problem. May be it cause in russian FireFox. Despite this trouble thanx for nice functioning extension.

This has been an indispensible tool for me for quite some time now. Just the other day, I noticed that I can't duplicate (or "copy") the search engines within the list. If I press CTRL + left mouse button and move the mouse, that little plus sign [+] (indicating duplicating instead of just moving) below the mouse pointer indeed appears, but it doesn't duplicate or copy the link and only "moves" it within the search engines list.

Copying (instead of just moving) the link would be useful if you have different folders that you like to open via the "Open All in Tabs" command and some folders should have the same SE as some other folder.

Breaks Mycroft Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Trying to add search engines from mycroft pops up a blank window which doesn't allow install. I've emailed the developer back in Jan.2012, but I've received no response. There is another report of this issue in the comments here, and also on mycroft: https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=24788

Was excellent. Will change review if the problem is fixed.

Really cool idea!

Nice, I really needed it, but...

Installed it after Context Search and it forced new tabs opened in background from context menu.
Unacceptable for me, pity.

Very Handy Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

I have Google SSL/HTTPS on the top as my default search.

Works fine together with the add-on "Context Search".

I wonder why such a crappy software is promoted as a "featured" add-on. Lost all my 30 search engines. When I tried to rebuild them, Mycroft was broken and I had no longer access to it. Fortunately, I found another add-on from Caveman that works as expected and has a lot more features.

Zero stars. Thanks to the developer for spoiling my whole Friday evening.

It's broken Mycroft (all search engine dialogs?) yet again. Aurora 10.0a2. Disabling. Too bad--very clever add-on.

Favicons disappearing in Linux Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

When used in linux firefox, the favicons disappear from the pulldown menu (but not from the search field itself) - makes things a little inconvenient when trying to recognize search engine in a hurry. Please fix.

could be a five... Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

I really like what this extension does and for the life of me, cannot understand why FF doesn't have this functionality in the first place. It basically works with FF7/archlinux, but only 4 stars because it breaks adding any search engines while enabled. Easy workaround, just disable it when you need to add stuff, no big deal but I hope it's fixed soon. Nice work anyway and thanks for a very useful extension!

Yep. It's stopped working with 'Context Menu' for me too...

Does not work, actually, with "Context Search" in FF5 and later.
Please, fix.

import/export trick Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

convenient to search for specific content or places

if willing to import/export your settings for backup or sync between your computers, here is a simple trick: go to your FF install folder, and just copy the 'searchplugins' sub folder & 'organize-search-engines.rdf' file to your personal account on any online backup/sharing/sync service

recommend the 'Add to Search Bar' (from same guy: Dr Evil) too, as it it works for many more sites than the FF built-in feature
