It says the permission to "Access your data for all websites" is optional, but it will not allow you to use the extension without enabling it, so I don't use it. I didn't install any of the other features they offer so there's no point to allow this permission since I'm not using their password manager or other stuff.

    I use Firefox simply to be able to use easy NordVPN. I only buy yearly subs when on sale to save money. I use NordVPN to access Japan based websites that want a JP IP address. Works well, and I enjoy it.

    The "Access your data for all websites" is set as optional, but you can't use the addon without giving them full access to my data across all website? Shoddy practice. Be mindful of this guys.

    The add-on slows down my browser enormously. When it's on, it takes 10 seconds for the page to load, without it, not a second. It wasn't like this before. I had tried everything and reset Firefox, but it turns out that the NordVPN add-on slows everything down. So no recommendation from me. With my regular Nord app/subscription, I have no problems.

    There aren't many VPN services that have been positively audited by security experts but NordVPN has proven, again and again, to be absolutely top-tier. I've been using them for years and they've consistently given me the most reliable connection, both on my phone and desktop, that I completely forget that I'm using them at all. That's really all that you can ask from a VPN.

    Many thanks to the team for getting back to me with the solution so quickly (I don't know how I missed it).

    Original review below:

    It's one of the best at what it does but it's recently just completely wiped all data from itself, essentially starting everything like it's the first ever log-in — all tunnelling settings/sites have been wiped (meaning I'm likely to get some of my accounts kicked again for using a VPN)...

    Great overall but severely hampered if you're unable to retain critical information for any length of time.

    Quick and easy! I use this one all the time. Noticed a few (very few) dropouts now and then, but it is seldom. NordVPN's app is already quite userfriendly, but this extension makes it even easier to use.
