The No Small Text toolbar panel enables you to set a minimum font size for all web content.
This minimum font size may be enabled or disabled by clicking the toolbar button, which will show a colored or gray icon, respectively.
If one size is not sufficient for your needs, you may set two additional sizes relative to the main size. You may loop through the preset sizes by clicking the toolbar button, which may now also show an orange or pink icon.
Some users, such as translators or multilinguals, may find it useful to set differential sizes for different font types using the sub-menu.
No Small Text is compatible with NoSquint and similar add-ons and may be used to extend their functionality.
Please keep in mind that no means to enlarge text (OS zoom, page zoom, text zoom, minimum size) will produce perfect results on pages with fixed-size text containers.
> Consider setting the two relative sizes to negative values (e.g. -2 and -4) to be able to easily scale down when some text does not fit on a page.
> You may also like the 'Theme Font & Size Changer' extension, which enables you to change the size of text in the Firefox user interface.
> If, for some reason, the toolbar button has disappeared, 1) right-click a toolbar, 2) choose 'Customize', 3) locate the button in the 'Customize Toolbox' and 4) drag it to a toolbar.
> Support for Thunderbird was removed but might be restored once Thunderbird supports CustomizableUI.jsm. The last compatible version remains functional, but you need to prevent it from updating.
The following improvements will be made only when sufficiently many users make significant donations:
> Option to toggle the minimum size back on (or off) when switching to another tab or web domain.
> Full support for the Australis menu panel.
