Is a new addon Blur is a new MaskMe !

All in One

One Thing, but still excellent! Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Does anyone know if FireFox's new sync mechanics work when moving to new/different computer? Does anyone know how to back up the base password file, or make a copy, or something for transfer?

My response:
It syncs my passwords into its cloud so I can use them anywhere, which is especially handy with moving to a new computer. There is only one little problem; if I haven't used the passwords for a long time, it doesn't collect them from FireFox's full list of saved passwords. it collects the passwords when they are input into a field, meaning that it only knows the ones used since you downloaded the add-on. I have 100+ different logins, but it's only remembering about 30, so far...
Also, what is Blur, and what's going to happen to MaskMe? :( I hope this fixes the problem with old, rarely used passwords.
Works wonders with "Saved Password Editor."

On mobile devices, if you ever try to login you have to go through the new plugin, type your email adress and password, then it redirects you to the correct login page, and there you can actually login.
Also, there's a banner on MaskMe now and it basically says "click here to upgrade to blur" except it won't let you upgrade to blur because for some reason you can't use your old email and even if you could the entire migration process is glitchy and when checking for the Blur and MaskMe extensions it may just fail every time.
Another thing is that goddamn banner has been here since like 6 goddamn months, care to remove it already?
If I didn't upgrade to your pointless new product then I'm pretty sure it either means "I CAN'T" or "I WON'T" do it.

I used MaskMe for a long time, and I enjoyed it a lot. It was a great add-on.
Hopefully, this will continue with Blur, and it'll prove to be a worthy successor.

Simple and useful. Easy to sync.
However, it's an American company, so NSA probably have everything you store here as well. =/
If they moved to Island, or New Zealand, or any other country where NSA have been told to go f**k 'em selfs. It would get higher rating.

I am extremely dependant on mask me!!!
All my login emails are generated by mask me... All my passwords are random numbers.
I do not know ANY of my login details.
And now I feel safe, for example, ensuring I do not use the same password everywhere. I pay taxes and manage my finances online, so there are data I do not want to mix and with over 300 passwords they used to be all the same.
Thank you abine for mask me. I am a pirate, I appreciate your solutions, I rate them with a 5 star. I will not use your paid services, as I can take the time an effort to scout other software.
Call me a "critic" ;)
P.D. I have spent hundreds of hours to come to the conclusion that using mask me is the most conveniente way to protect myself. I enjoy solving problems, looking for solutions, trying them out and evaluating with the passing of time.
Mask Me has returned the confidence I had on Line prior to the NSA BIG BROTHER.
Thank you Abine... keep it up!

I was thrilled with DoNoTrackMe (DNTM) and MaskMe (MM), but after purchasing the premium MaskMe account, all of a sudden I've had ongoing problems with both MaskMe and DNTM. They do not work well together, there is overlapping, and they require entirely different log-in membership accounts! That should have been made clear Before I purchased the premium MM account because Abine's help section explains that the "new" DNTM now does most of what MM does, and they won't integrate. If one wants to simplify and switch over to DNTM, all of MM's masked emails and passwords are lost forever and one must start over from scratch! After using MM for a period of time, that is A LOT of accounts to lose log-ins for!
Also, DNTM's toolbar icon keeps screwing up and becoming unresponsive. I end up having to delete it and reinstall it to get it working again. Between that and MM developing all kinds of glitches recently, including locking me out of my account entirely, which forced me to reinstall FF and lose all of FF my add-ons and various settings, products that used to be a delight are becoming a major, time-consuming pain. Furthermore, MM isn't recording all of the passwords it is creating for me and when that happens, I have no idea what they are! Whether it is Abine's internal issues or problems working with FF updates, either way, Abine should either be on top of it or let us know upfront that there are bugs and/or incompatibilities. At the moment, I've dropped my stars from four to three but if this continues, I'll be dropping the star rating further.
I read the Olivia from Abine response to another reviewer having the exact same problems as me and she wrote that Abine is very aware of the problems and confusion for their users as they go through changes. I just want to say that as a premium subscriber, I resent the company knowing it is going through these transitions but charging me for a year of MM only to shortly after suddenly label it "beta," move MM services to DNTM, and then let me and other subscriber's suffer the chaos and disruption! It's a really lousy way to treat customers. It isn't even ethical to keep selling a product they are phasing out as the customer is making the purchase. Now that I know it is Abine causing the disruption and knowingly providing a faulty product because they "decided" to switch MM services to DNTM and leave their MM customers in a lurch, my star rating is down to two stars!

one of the best tools around Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

Maskme is one of my most favorite tools. Almost always anonymously logged on to sites. Never give out your real email and get a unique password for each occasion. Sometimes it needs some attention but for that you get so much privacy instead. Every unique logon or alias is stored in the cloud and always available automatically when opening the logon screen of a site.

NOT better than Privacy Suite Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Privacy Suite was the very best add on, I loved it! then they made it better...NOT with MASK me, and now that is discontinued for an even "better", NOT EVEN called Do not track me, what a pain to use. Please go back to PrivacySuite. At least update it so it works with the current and future Fire Fox. Please?

Weird Behavior on refreshes Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

Recently with either Ubuntu 14.04 or Win7 with this add-on enabled and on certain sites (PHP type pages) it seems to want to do a full screen refresh by reloading everything from scratch. Hit refresh the whole screen goes white and then the page does a full reload. If I disable this add-on everything is back to normal. Very annoying. Went through all add-ons and it was narrowed down to this one. Using FireFox 33 but noticed this in previous releases.,

Suddenly broken Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

This is a great add-on, I mean, this WAS a great add-on, but it's completely broken now, with the latest version of Firefox : ( Please fix it. Clicking the toolbar button does nothing, going to maskme://index.html searches for it, and clicking the add-on options in about:addons freezes the browser.

Really like this addon. It is an indespensible part of my online digital life. I mainly use the one-time email and credit card features. But it offers phone and password protection as well. I've only had 1 bug that I've reported so far in about 1 year of use. I like supporting a privacy-focused company.

Masked emails are awesome and MaskMe is also a very nice password manager. The Firefox plug-in works perfectly. I do wish the mobile apps were a little more feature rich (for example, the Android app only has read-only access to your passwords and masked emails). Highly recommended!
