- par CauseOfBSOD, il y a un moisNoté 4 sur 5A good addon, my only complaint being that there is no way (correct if wrong) to use scam protection without preemptive blocking (i.e. blocking all .tk and .gg domains (as well as some others) and whitelisting known good ones). Also, I have not been able to whitelist some downloads, specifically those of Zeroshell (a Linux-based router distribution) and have to click through a warning each time, although I can verify these downloads are safe.

It is an add-in for Chrome and Firefox, which pretends to protect you against visiting dangerous web sites. Instead, it displays bogus warnings about visiting ANY site in the .info or .biz "top level domains," except those which have been "whitelisted."
I discovered this when I got a complaint that my own .info web site was blocked for "suspicious" content which might "contain scam activity." I checked all the .info sites in my bookmarks file, and about two-thirds were similarly blocked.
I reported 22 wrongly-blocked sites to Malwarebytes, and they unblocked ("whitelisted") them all within a few days.
Still, imagine if a pregnancy test, or a COVID-19 test, was wrong 66% of the time. Would you be satisfied with such performance, if you had bought such a test?
Obviously, Malwarebytes should only display such warnings if there's reason to believe they are true. That means they need to have bots scan the web sites, looking for suspicious content. ONLY if they find suspicious content on a site (or if the site blocks access by the bot) should they tell their users that a site is "suspicious," and warn against visiting the site.
