MOST USEFUL ADD-ON
NEED A QUANTUM UPDATE DESPERATELY !!!!!!
PRETTY PLEASE !!!!!!!
Thanks to the developer for building this handy tool. I use it to test REST services. I'd love to see this add-on being converted into a WebExtension for use after FF 57.0.
Ne fonctionne plus avec Firefox 45. S'il vous plait, fixez.
Thanks for this great extension!
Since Firefox 43 got released this addon doesn't do anything to links anymore
I won't be useable as soon as firefox 42 comes out, since it is not signed
I just installed Linkification, turns out it messes up viewing my mail via OWA 14. If you use OWA, for the love of God, don't install this addon - otherwise you won't be able to read your emails!!!
Unfortunately, this expansion breaking character's portrait on Battle.net Armory (links like http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character///simple)
I tried TEXT LINK, PLAIN TEXT LINK, and PLAIN TEXT LINKER listed here and none of them worked correctly with Firefox 37. But Linkification worked perfectly.
I wish there was an option 'disable url reference when opening link by highlight+open_in* mode'. Sometimes visited sites should't know what other pages we came from ;)
Tried to contact the developer directly, but can't figure out how on his website. Bug?
When the url is in literally displayed, the linkification tag is also literally displayed. http://i.imgur.com/4XkS9QD.jpg
Can you add the option to make the " com" to ".com"? space+com --> ".com"
or more precisely " com/" turn into ".com/"
Thanks for the tip. Would have saved me the effort of teasing out the cause of high CPU usage / Firefox freezes on certain websites myself. Amazon.com was particularly annoying!
Go to Linkification Options > Functionality tab and where it says "Auto-Linkify Whitelist/Blacklist" add the following:
Make sure "Never Auto-Linkify the following domains" is checked and "Only Auto-Linkify the following domains" is unchecked.
Those sites should stop freezing unless another add-on is having issues.
Linkification has worked fine for me for a few years I just wish I could move the add-on button to the new bar on Firefox 29.
Hi y5, I couldnt figure out how to contact you on your website but I hope you will read these lines.
It would be fantastic to enjoy Linkification skills in Thunderbird as well!
This lightens up a whole new world, that I've never seen before.
Someone needs to add 'magnet:' to the list of linkafilable prefixes. Otherwise does what it says and very nicely - although the need of this add-on in this day-and-age is kind of idiotic, as it's functionality should be built-into FireFox from the start.
I spent months wondering why Amazon was so incredibly slow to navigate. Finally I started disabling each addon until I discovered that linkification was to blame. Disabled it and Amazon no longer lags. Running on SSD, 8 GB ram, Phenom II X4 3.4 Happened regardless if I was using Windows 7 or 8. Something to work on, guys. Hope you figure out how to fix that.
Wow, I wish I would've downloaded this sooner. Too many years of frustrating copying of links, no more! Thanks!!!
check out this txt file http://addons.videolan.org/CONTENT/content-files/150081-AddSimilarWithSort.lua (I know its a vlc extension, but open it as a txt file in firefox browser with linkification instaled)
the link ant the bottom isn't parsed right.
