Image Zoom Lightbox makes web images easier to inspect without leaving the page.
Hover over an image and press your chosen shortcut twice to open a clean lightbox with quick zoom and pan controls. Customize the shortcut, control visibility, and overlay colors in Settings, and keep your preferences saved for future sessions.
Features:
- Open images in a focused lightbox with a configurable double-press shortcut
- Zoom in, zoom out, or fit the image to the viewer
- Zoom with the mouse wheel around the cursor
- Drag to pan when zoomed in
- Hide or show the toolbar and close button with a shortcut

- Customize the toolbar and close button colors
- Option to hide overlay controls by default
- Preferences are saved between sessions
- Shortcut is ignored while typing in editable fields

Usage:
1. Hover over an image on a webpage.
2. Press the activation shortcut twice quickly to open the lightbox.
3. Zoom with the mouse wheel or the on-screen controls.
4. Drag to move around the image when zoomed in.
5. Use the controls shortcut to hide or show the overlay buttons.
6. Press Esc or click outside the lightbox to close it.
If you choose to hide overlay controls by default, use the controls shortcut to reveal them after opening the lightbox.
The activation shortcut can be changed in Settings. Available options include Ctrl + Ctrl, Shift + Shift, and Cmd/Meta + Cmd/Meta.
macOS:
- If the default shortcut does not work well in your browser or system setup, switch to Shift + Shift or Cmd/Meta + Cmd/Meta in Settings.
Microsoft Edge:
- Edge includes a built-in Magnify image feature that may also use Ctrl + Ctrl.
- If there is a conflict, change this extension's activation shortcut in Settings or turn off Edge's Magnify image setting.
Notes:
- Supports standard image elements
- Does not run on restricted browser pages
- Some image types and embedded page contexts are not supported in this version
