Pourquoi le module Image Toolbar a-t-il été créé ?
Image Toolbar was written to fulfil a request from a forum user at MozillaZine who wanted to switch to Firefox from Internet Explorer, but didn't want to lose the Image Toolbar functionality. I sympathised with this need, and had seen the request a few times before, so I decided to help out.
After a few years, various enhancements and a rewrite, Image Toolbar remains one of my most popular extensions, and is the most functionally rich that I have written.
If you think this add-on is useful, please donate the price of a coffee / beer to say thanks! I really appreciate all donations as I do all of this work in my spare time.
Prochaine étape pour Image Toolbar
Future enhancements I'd like to make to Image Toolbar include:
1) View Image (view the image on its own)
2) Zoom in / zoom out
3) Add tooltips to the buttons
4) Allow users to choose which corner the toolbar appears in.
I'm sure there are plenty of others on my list that I haven't mentioned, there's always a lot I'd like to do with this extension. I'm happy to discuss feature ideas and enhancements, and will gratefully look at any source code contributions.
Looming on the horizon is a full Image Toolbar rewrite when Firefox desupports XUL (the framework in which most of Firefox's UI has been produced, and the majority of its add-ons). Your donations will help to make this happen.
