Grabbit adds a small floating button to YouTube. One click grabs the video you're watching — no copying links, no shady converter sites.

Private by design:
Grabbit talks only to a tiny companion server running on your own computer (127.0.0.1), which uses yt-dlp to fetch the video. No accounts, no tracking, no remote servers — your watch activity never leaves your machine.

Setup (one time):
Install the extension, then run the included local server (python3 server.py, requires yt-dlp + ffmpeg). Full instructions are in the project README.
