"Google Direct" tends to create double entries in the tab's history that make it more difficult to navigate back in the history.

You may want to use an alternative approach like "Remove Google Redirection" instead.

For me it doesn't work. I have PiHole blocking tracking domains. Thus I can't open adverised links on top of Google Search results list. With or with out this add-on. What am I doing wrong?

HA... It just works.. so simple.. I love simple.. it just disables the javascript rewrite fuction for all sites at this list https://www.google.com/supported_domains
(list downloaded when they made the app, so list is hardcoded in, the addon never connects to that url.)
